TNF Voza: Trail Shoe For Review
This shoe has been with me for quite sometime but haven’t tried them that much yet. But after this preview of the shoe, I’d very much want to give them a try. Now, where can I find a nice trail to run with?
I never had any trail shoes before since I don’t get to run on trails that often. My first trail run was at the Men’s Health All Terrain Race. I was wearing my usual running shoes for the race. Thus, I was quite careful to avoid slipping since normal running shoes don’t provide much grip on trails, mud and dirt.
Now if you think trail shoes are bulky and heavy, think again. TNF has a lightweight trail shoes that should work both on the road and on the trail. Much like a 2-in-1 shoe, huh. This is the TNF Voza.
The TNF Voza was designed for normal pronators. Since it is lightweight, it should be ok to be used for trails or road surfaces. And it looks like the usual running shoes. The difference are the shoe spikes at the soles that will provide the traction needed when running on a trail.
Here are some of the features of the shoes as taken from The North Face website.
- Lightweight, cushioned X-2™ compression-molded EVA midsole
- Northotic™ ergonomic footbed
- Tenacious™ Grip rubber outsole provides versatile wet/dry traction on road or trail
One of the reasons, I never got a trail shoes before was because I don’t think I will use them often and they look heavy. But this shoes might be able solve that problem since I may be able to use them on the road like normal shoes.
TNF Tenacious Grip rubber for excellent traction on the road and trail.
