Timex vs Garmin GPS Watch Review
Posted On January 17, 2011
I love my GPS watch. I sometimes feel I am so dependent on it. There would be times where I would decided not to run just because I haven’t charge my Garmin Forerunner. So far, the Garmin enjoys some popularity among runners. Last year, Timex also released their Timex Global Trainer which is their first GPS watch. I don’t own one but it would have been interesting to compare them.
Runner’s World was able to compare a Garmin Forerunner 210 and a Timex Global Trainer. It would be interesting which one was preferred by the author? Which do you think works best? Read here to find out.
Below are some of the key features of the two watches.

hi ed. are you still using your timex global trainer? how is it doing on your runs? thanks.
Of the many various GPS manufactures, Garmin has become the most popular. Not only do they make a high-quality product, but they offer a wide variety of GPS units for average consumers, mariners and pilots. However, quality can come at a price, as some Garmin GPS units can range in price up to thousands of dollars. This is why it is important to try to find a source for discount Garmin GPS products if at all possible.^`
