3rd Quezon City International Marathon – QCIM 2011 (QC)
The 3rd Quezon City International Marathon (QCIM) 2011 will be held on December 4, 2011 at Quezon City. About 15,000 runners are expected to join and run the streets of QC. The route is expected to be running through challenging and picturesque routes that include Commonwealth Avenue, the widest highway in the Philippines, University of the Philippines campus greenery and the scenic La Mesa Dam and Eco Park.

Based last year, madaming baggage counter na nakakalat. Mamili ka pa ng tent na gusto mo. Yung hydration, gatorade ang sponsor ngayon. Maraming hydration points. Tancha ko, every 3 kms. Last year, may bananas, chocolates at sponge para sa 21 and 42 Km runners.

sobrang hindi po nakakatuwa ung marathon na yan kaninang umaga…sana kung magsasagawa po kau ng ganyang event uli siguruhin nio muna na walang mapeperwisyong iba….hindi nio lang alam kung gaanong abala gaanong sakrripisyo at perwisyo ang dinulot nio sa mga naapektuhan ng traffic kanina…hndi tlaga kau nakakatuwa….pls be sensitive naman po kau….hindi lang kau ang kailangan tumakbo ang buhay….hndi nio lang alam kung ano ang dinulot nio…sobra kaung abala..napakakalat nio pa pinagtatapon nio pa ung mga cups nio sa kalsada…tama ba un?…cguro nga kagaya nio habambuhay ko po itong maaalala…PROMISE
My comments on the recent qcim: Frustrated because I expected a well planned, organized run, one side of Commonwealth totally blocked but to my dismay cars were crisscrossing our path; Aside from a densely polluted site, the road was stinky due to garbage juice scattered all over the place that spilled from a garbage truck that passed earlier; Thanks to the generous weather though; No first-aid stations. I will skip this event next year, definitely!
