Somnio Running Shoes is now in the Philippines

A month ago I mentioned that a new brand of running shoes will debut in the Philippines soon.  Well, finally, it has arrived.  Somnio is now available in the Philippines.  What makes Somnio running shoes different from other running shoes is there are 3 parts in the shoe that you can customized based on your needs.

Somnio is a latin word meaning “to dream.”

They designed their shoes based on the principle that the human body is asymetrical.  Our left and right body parts are not exactly the same.  The right can be more dominant than the left.  When it comes to running, it will mean that the right and left foot will have different needs.  Thus, Somnio came up with a shoe that you can change the cushioning, the footbeds and the wedge inserts.

Here are some photos of the Somnio Launch yesterday.  I’ll talk more about the shoe and its features in the next posts.  The customized parts are really interesting.  My experience fitting and customizing the shoe was enlightening.

Somnio Shoes are available in the Philippines at GB3 or GBX branches in the following malls:  SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, Robinson’s Galleria and Robinson’s Ermita.
