Running Shoe Feature: Mizuno Prophecy
Mizuno calls it their most advance and most dynamic shoe ever. It’s a results of seven years of research. It features a full length Infinity wave plate and gender-engineered designs. They look bold and fast from the outside. Check out the new Mizuno Wave Prophecy.
Mizuno Wave Prophecy is a neutral shoe design for runners with a neutral gait. They are available in Mizuno stores for 8,995 Php.
Mizuno Prophecy boasts a full length Infinity Wave Plate. The plate is now extended from the heel to the midfoot allowing better dispersal of impact and better transitions all throughout the shoe. The Infinity Wave Plate also keeps the shoe light. There is very little midsole left. Instead, a lightweight, durable and flexible plastic is placed in a from of a wave.

It also features the durable x10 rubber outsoles. I can say that these are the most long lasting outsoles I have known. You can be assured of longer miles with these shoes.
x10 Rubber gives superior durability for the outsoles.
The outsoles doesn’t have deep flex grooves found in other designs. They say the wave plates are flexible enough already.
The topmost part of the lace offers two holes. This gives you a more custom fit shoe.
Two holes are better than one.
The toe box elevation looks a bit extreme. They increased the height of the toe box to improve the push off of the shoe. This will make the running more efficient according to Mizuno.
The toe box is very high from the ground to guide runners during the push off stage of the run.
The color of the shoe shows a strong and bold presence. The metallic red looks like its a fast car rather than a shoe.
Upper design looks crowed with all the logos and design. But the material still uses a soft and breathable mesh.
Mizuno is also known for it gender engineering shoes. Although, they don’t look obvious but their design for men and women are different. For women, the shoe is more flexible at the soles and have rounded heels. This is to support the way women naturally pronates with the shoes. For men, the soles are wider to absorb more impact because they are heavier than the women.

I dreamed about this shoe ever since i saw it in the internet. When it arrived here in the Philippines, I just bought it without giving myself time to hesitate because at P8995 it is quite pricey. Luckily, I was able to use the 20% discount that i got from the mizuno expo. The shoe is awesome; the fit is snug; and once you wear it, you feel like running. I can’t wait to try this on my next 21k.
There’s a newer version in blue/yellow/silver colorway. Has not arrived in RP, I guess.
HI! Im very’much interested in the 20% discount, where and how did you avail it? Hope to hear from you.
