Possible Motorola GPS Running Watch to Rival Nike+ and Garmin?
With the popularity of running gadgets, I won’t be surprised if more products are being introduced in the market. Last month, a photo of a possible Motorola sportswatch circulated in the internet. It looks very much like the Nike+ iPod design with added features of a Garmin Forerunner.
The photo was from a survey. Probably Motorola is studying the feasibility of the product before releasing it to the market. I would definitely give it a thumbs up. The GPS watch is still unnamed but part of the survey list possible names like MotoActive.
Here are the rumored features of the watch:
- GPS tracking and measurement
- Distance, speed, pace
- For running, cycling, workout and other sports
- Music player
- Android-based device
- wireless PC sync
- ANT+
- Heart Rate Monitor
There was no indication if this GPS watch will really be released to the market. If it does, would you consider buying it?
