Vivobarefoot Ultra – Product Feature
Vivobarefoot introduces the Ultra. It is the first fully molded barefoot product. It comes With a functional plug-in tongue and laces for maximum fit and performance. The Vivobarefoot Ultra is the lightest amphibious barefoot running shoe on the market.
The Vivobarefoot Ultra is ideal for cross training, water sports and beach side runs.
Elastic Cord and lock-lacing system for a quick and secure fit.
The Vivobarefoot Ultra has a 6.0 mm puncture resistance outsole. It’s thin enough to give protection and still get the feel of running barefoot. It doesn’t have an insole making it very lightweight at about 4 oz only.
It is an amphibious shoe. You can use it on the road, in the beach, river crossing and other terrains.

What is unique about the Ultra is that it can be configured to a full-sock or just a plug-in mesh tongue. It is the first time I have seen this kind of design.

Like the Evo and the Neo, the Ultra still uses the hex-flex design. But the material is a bit thicker and much more comfortable.
Very soft heel counter material. Much more comfortable this time compared to the previous models.
The Vivobarefoot Ultra is priced at 3,995.

hmmm…I havent dipped my foot into the barefoot school, but my GF is inkling to try out the Nike Free.hay..isip isip muna ako.
Nike Free is not as thin as most barefoot shoes. It still works much like the usual shoes but made more flexible. Others don’t even consider Nike Free as a barefoot running shoe. But I find them a good intro to barefoot shoes.
