Asics GT-2160 Is 2011 Best Running Shoe In The World
What is the best running shoe in the world? The Runner’s World Magazine has award the 2011 International Editor’s Choice Award to Asics GT-2160. The award is announced in the December 2011 issue of Runner’s World Magazine. As a subscriber, I get to read the US edition a month in advance. 😀
The Asics GT-2160 review from Runner’s World says that the GT-2160 has “rock-steady stability features, foot-hugging fit and plush cushioning” as the primary reasons for earning the award.
The shoe was selected by a panel of International Runner’s World editors from the 15 countries in which the magazine is published (Australia/New Zealand, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, The Netherlands/Belgium, Philippines, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States).
The GT-2160 also received the Editor’s Choice in the December 2010 issue.
With these numerous awards and at a $100 price, the GT-2160 is surely worth every penny.
And something to watch out for next year. The Asics GT-2170 is scheduled for release in January 2012.
