Asics GT-2170 Coming This January 2012

The Asics GT-2170 will be released on January 2012 for the Spring Collection. The Asics GT-2000 series continues to provide award winning design and comfort. It has been known for its consistently reliable fit, stability and cushioning. Recently, the GT-2160 won the Best Running Shoe Award for 2011 by Runner’s World Magazine.

The GT-2170 will have a weight reduction combined with a larger rearfoot GEL Cushioning System making the GT2170 the lightest model so far.

Here’s what to expect from the GT-2170.

Discrete Eyelets – The upper now features Discrete Eyelets for a more uniform pull when the laces are tightened.  The individual eyestays allow the shoe to move with the foot more effectively and decreases potential for irritation.

Large GEL Cushioning System – ASICS takes great pride in its GEL Cushioning System and this year’s GT-2170 receives the largest GEL unit in the GT-2000 series to date.

Full-Length Guidance Line – Combined with GEL Cushioning System creates the cushioned ride, perfect for helping the foot move properly through its natural path of progression.

The Asics Gel GT-2170 is priced at 110 USD and will be released on January 2012. There are four colors available for Men and Women models.
