This November, McDonald’s is celebrating McHappy Day, a worldwide fundraising effort in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and its programs. To celebrate, there will be a McHappy Day Fun Run on November 27, Sunday, at the Venice Piazza Mall, McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio. Proceeds of the fun run will go to RMHC’s Bright Minds Read, a beginning reading program for Grade 1 students.
We are giving away four (4) 5K race kits to the McHappy Run.

Grimace will be fun to run with. He’s cute and funny, and can keep up with me. He’s my favorite McDonald’s character since I was a kid. Purple’s my color.
It will always be Ronald McDonald “The Face of Mcdonalds”. Since I was little I love taking pictures with him. It is an Identity whenever people see big M and a clown they will immediately think of McDonalds. Clowns are funny with a lot of humor and running with him will be a lot fun… it will be “A No Boring Session!”.

He’s purple, and I just cant figure out where his color came from – there’s no such thing as ube halaya or Ube Sundae in McDonalds. Kinda fun to run with a weird character that seem to be different from the rest of the characters and that It may be nice to talk to someone while running – i will definitely ask him – “ano ang connection mo sa McDonalds at ikaw lang ang naiiba?!”

Big Mac, In addition to McDonald’s signature sandwich, Big Mac was the name of a character in McDonaldland. He was similar to Mayor McCheese in that he had a large Big Mac for a head, except he was the chief of police and as such he wore a constable uniform.

I think it’s cool to run side to side with mcdonald itself, because he’s cool and we’re both afro. And he’s the only one closer to reality to be ran with. We’re gonna run both barefoot.
I know he’ll be cool running barefoot for it’s been a long long time since then, he never take off his shoes, so it will be nice and exciting for everyone to see him running barefoot. Cool!
