H! won the 2nd place ,10k category @ the QCIM 2011, how can i claim my prize at the soonest time? i’ve been trying to call the office of RUNNEX but no one’s answering and even albert espi.
i hope you can address my concern asap.thanks.
i would rather bet it has been shared at the meal table of the race organizers.
DISSAPOINTING…knowing that the organizer is RUNNEX…
NOT ORGANIZED. kawawa ang mga runner, especially the 42k runner. yung ibang runner ng 42k wala silang nakuha kahit anong giveaways… and sana lang po NEXT TIME ORIENT WELL ALL YOUR PERSONNEL…HINDI PO PATAY GUTOM ANG MGA RUNNER NA PUMIPILA PARA SA GIVEAWAYS. KASAMA PO ANG MGA YUN SA MARKETING NYO PARA MADAMI ANG SUMALI SA FUN RUN NYO.
I agree, yong loot bag ko bag lang talaga walang laman, ubos na daw. Considering na 3rd year nyo na to, dapat pulido na ang lahat.

sobrang dissapointed s race n ito knowing n malalaki ang mga sponsors and yet wala k man lang mkukuha kahit loot bags after you finished the race may loot bag nga pero laman baller at nkkdismayang sandwich n walang palaman kahit n cheezwiz man lang, kwawa nman ang mga nhuling runner. I hope it will be much better next year!
its ur 3rd time to run the event and yet di parin maayos. see 42k runners kawawa dahil ni walang giveaways na nakuha just only lootbag n walang laman at kung mayroon man just bread n walang palaman, my gosh dapat 42k runners ang priority kasi hirap sila tulad ng milo nagbibigay sila ng t-shirt for the finishers. ang nangyari kasi naunang binigyan ang mga runners ng 5k,10k at 21k. sana next time well organized na, ok.matuto na kayo pang international pa naman..
even 5k runners walang nakuha..may red bag nga but wala ng laman maski tinapay…inabutan n kami ng ulan sa kakahintay ng lootbag dahil kala namin nandun n lahat ng giveaways un pala iba’t ibang booth pa ang pupuntahan..
QCIM3 feedback from 42k runner:
-Baggage counter setup late for 42k w/o proper lighting inside booth. Bags where not properly tagged kaya nahirapan maghanap pagkatapos ng race.
-Water during & after race was sufficient but not enough food stores nearby unlike PhilCOA QCIM2 setup. Di kami makalayo dahil sa condo raffle. Nagutom at malamig pa ang panahon.
-Marshalls especially at UP w/ a lot of turn points stood there ground despite rains. Salamat at may saging pa in atleast 2 stations.
-I hope a BETTER way is found for those hydration belts at La Mesa Watershed gate.

TAMA KAYONG MGA RUNNERS…DI TAU PATAYGUTOM PARA PILAHAN NAG MGA FREEBIES… ICLASSIFY NYO KUNG ANUNG CATEGORY PARA DI NAGKAKAUBUSAN…WAWA KAMING MGA LONG DISTANCE RUNNERS…WALANG ABUTAN…PANGET PATI SINGLET NYO…NTAWAG PANG INTERNATIONAL EH DITO SA LOS BANOS TALAGANG INTERNATIONAL ANG MGA RUNNERS FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AND RACES…PALUGAW PA ANG MGA RUNNERS WITH PANDESAL AND BANANA…
madilim ang race track, kulang sa pailaw, tapos may mga nagsamantala sa parking area inside the circle, maraming nanakawan mukhang involve ang mga security guards.
i share the disappointments above. these are the reasons i did not join this race this year. race course was not of international standard. there were no energy bars. the first 21k mark there were bananas, of course we did not need them at that point coz we were not yet carbo low; but the bananas were gone on our way back for the 2nd half of the 42k. we found out that these were given to the 5k and 10k participants. such stupidity reflected that those manning the posts were not briefed by the organizers. also we found out that many were hoarded by those who manned the posts. the distance was also not accurate. timer was removed on the 4.5 hr mark, indicating lack of respect to the weaker marathoner, and lack of understanding to the difficulty of marathon. we only got 1 energy drink as a giveaway.
i think there should be a governing body to sanction these race events so as to conform to the standards appropriate for d event..if not, maybe atleastthere should be proper rules and guidelines before an event is allowed especially the safety and proper coordination with the police and the traffic…
otherwise, these organizers will continue treat runners like ‘milking cows’ where after reaping the benefits of registration fees biglang wala ng pakialam at parang basura na lang after ng event..
one thing more, the raffles…namomonitor ba talaga ng DTI yan?

isang bawi lng natin mga runners…dont patronize ang mga palpak na race ng mga palpak na organizers next time…
Yes! Hindi nako sasali sa qcim! Bulok! Kaming matataas na K at mataas na bayad ang niregister kami ang nawalan. At ang mga booths ubusan ngsupplies, agawan, parang tuloy patay gutom ang mga runners. Parang may corruption sa loob ng organizers, 1 runner = 1 bayad sa reg SO DAPAT MAY 1 LOOT BAG na nakalaan. RAKET ITO. PARANG GOBYERNO. Sa iba, for exmple, dzmm or karunungan 2010, paglampas ng finish line, iniaabot na ang loot bags accdng sa value ng binayad mo at may diploma pa. BIR! Talamak na corruption, pati fun run pinasok na ng mga pulitiko este ng mga kawatan!!! PEACE! AYOKO NA SA QCIM RAKET. RUNNEX, di na din ako join sa ibang runs nyo, FUNny RUN!
