Good race and weather. Ran 15k but gps showed 13.5km only. Did others also get actual distance?
Yes good 15k race but no running chips… yes my GPS registered 13.88km only lacking 1k…
…almost caught, i saw others where stopped by traffic officers to accomodate vehicles infront of CCP, what a run breaking your momentum…sorry guys, until next run…
I got 13.98k on my endomondo…
No more water at last two stations before finish
ran 5K but Nike+ only registered 4.6K…would have beaten my PB if the route was more accurate…sayang!
kelan po ba ipopost ang mga photos and race result sa bdo race for life?
are you not going to post the race results and photos?
ran 10k, my watch registered 10.11k
ran 10k also but my GPS registered 10.17K.
run 10K but my speedometer registered 15K..sino kaya mas accurate sa mga gadgets natin?
I ran 10K…and i’m happy! I don’t mind anything…i just love running! Goodbye alcohol and smokes! Running helps me get rid of those stuffs for more than a month now…will continue running as long as my legs can!
where are the photos? hehe
this is my 2nd official run, after RU1. whether it be lacking in distance or not it doesn’t matter, the motivation it gave to a neophyte like me for receiving a medal from top 50 @ 5k is another level. but still it is a funny run.
thanks Jinoe! nice seeing you at the event! good luck sa Borneo! intay ko blog post mo nun 🙂
poorly organized event… late gun time… the BIB no. with the proper name assignment that has reflected in the result didn’t match… -_-
I’m number 87 Race Bib 3175 however my name is not listed and i did not get the Finishers Medal, how can I get it? It’s my first finishers medal pa naman sana.
nd ko maopen yung race result haii
san na po yung ibang picture nung 15k
broken link naman
how can I claim my medal in 15K? I’m in top 100. I thought it will be awarded upon arrival at the finish line. I went home after the race for important matters but according to my friend it was announced in the stage in the later part of the race program.
difference of 2-seconds from my stopwatch…pero nde nka-lista name ko sa race result, bib number lng nklagay.
how and who do we contact if the name & number on the list does not match?
Oh come on BDO! Since when did my MOM started running? Bib 3135 for 10k, that’s my mom’s name, the person I wrote at the ‘Who to contact in case of emergency’ thingy. Most aspects of this BDO race was a disaster — from the late gun start — to the all-dried-up finish line where all the water at the water stations magically evaporated and all the super thirsty finishers had to patiently fall in a 100-meter long line for a teeny weeny version of Pocari. And now, with the race results, seriously?! Come on guys you can do better than being stupid enough to encode the name of my guardian as the Participant’s Name for this race. I should have listened to my friend to join the Tupperware Run instead. I’ve been keeping my cool since race day coz it’s supposed to be a “fun” run thing. Now please fix the race results before another soul loses temper and eat you alive. >:-/
AS EXPECTED BDO RUN WAS A DISASTER.LATE GUN START, WATER STATIONS DRIED UP WITH WATERS, FINISH LINE HAS NO WATER FOR FINISHERS AND AWARDING OF MEDALS YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR TWO HOURS BEFORE YOU EARNED YOUR HARD EARNED PLASTIC MEDAL, KUNTI LANG ANG RACE MARHALL KAYA MARAMI ANG RACE BANDITS WHO SHORTCUTS TO FINISH . THIS WOULD BE THE LAST TIME I JOINED THIS RACE.SINCE THIS TIME YOU HAVE NO RACE RESULTS.

Ikaw na
First and last run ko sa bdo, sobrang pangit ng organizers.ideretso ko nalang tulong ko sa mga nasalanta ng bagyo wag ng idaan sa bdo!! yung medal nag antay pa tayo ng matagal tapos parang button pin lang!
san site po mkikita yon mga photos non run? and please paki-ayos po ng race results..why some of the race bib did not have runners name? at kung meron man mali yon nakalagay na name… paki-explain naman po.

Pre nakita ko record mo Bib# 1519 sa 3k result…1055th place with time of 0:31:35.18
Just to get even…please post naman yun mga pictures…why its taking too long for the pictures to be posted…please be responsible naman…
BDO = BAD DECISION OVERLOAD.
1.I ran thinking hydration would be more than adequate,=dehydrated
2. I woke up so early due to excitement,=late gun start
3. Brought along my nephews and nieces to run the 5k =they wont run anymore due to confusion at starting line, gym na lang daw sila
4. Wore my race bib, = lots of running bandits and total disregard for race ethics
Lesson learned—– Never join a run where registration is a hassle from the very start because it reflects on how the organizers will deliver on their promises come race day. And no matter how they put a spin to this event, it was a REAL DISASTER. Stick to banking BDO, leave the fun runs to those who know what fun is in running.
Sorry for the strong words fellow runners, i was rushed to the hospital by my own sister due to dehydration. No one even bothered to check on the condition of those struggling to finish.
I Agree winston. I second d motion. your sentiment same as mine. AMEN. BDO!
Well said.
indeed, well said winston
TRUE to every runners sentiments that run of BDO last sunday was a DISASTER! Late gunstart, lack of h2o @ water station and some of those who run for 15k didnt go trough the turn around mark especially the last turn around bend @ MOA. This could be my 1st & last run for BDO.
you guys are waaaaaay to serious. tapos na yung run.
may photos na ba?
Sigue Correr Runners <– search mo sa facebook
Pre dapat yun official photos ang ma release…Ive seen Sigue Correr Runners photos, i thank them for the effort.
sabagay. anyway, chill out dude, lalabas din yan. haha.

I saw a poor young lady runner who fainted at Macapagal road near MOA and not sure where the heck are those medical staff…
Hi Jepz. I could be that lady you saw who fainted along Macapagal road. My daughter already raised this concern to Tri N Motion and even to staff from BDO, but to no avail.
I was rushed to the hospital that morning, thanks to my husband. The medical staff they hired as well as the staff from Pasay Medical Team were totally useless. They didn’t have the necessary equipment. They just made me lie there for more than 30mins, not doing anything to make me feel better. If it wasn’t for my husband’s judgment to rush me to the hospital, I could have died there!
Sad thing is that BDO, after the support we had given this project, are no longer attending to our concerns and are not owning up their shortcomings. We are very disappointed.
darn, results are really not accurate i just noticed after checking the result with my bib number in 13th place. afaik, when i reached the finish line(5k) ala tao ahead of me except a runner behind me who run along with me until the finish line where i crossed first. and by stroke of luck they recorded his bib number ahead of me.
bkt wala name and bib q?… alm q nman na nsa 31min aq s 5k? 🙁

Ano ba, BDO….kailangan pa ba magreklamo para Lang mailabas nyo yung picture? Just tell us if they will NEVER be available so we we won’t look like fools waiting for your “photography club” to upload phantom images. Please, just tell us to bug off and we’ll gladly not ask for them. Ayos ba, BDO? Like your tag line says “we find ways” … Pls find a way!

My 14 year old son was very disappointed with the result of the top 100 finishers. He was not called and never got that plastic medal (poor kid who did his best to run the 10K), but we knew that he’s on the top 40 we even confirmed and confronted the organizers but for them it was just a job and they cannot do anything about it. BDO’s tagline “WE FIND WAYS” I guess they don’t have the same vision.
I’m not sure if BDO committee knows this.
1) They are using bar codes in the bibs, I don’t know how it works, the organizer’s and BDO committee should have attended several running events before they did this.
2) My husband saw a poor young lady runner who fainted at Macapagal road near MOA a lot of runners stopped to assist but it took about 15 minutes before the ambulance came.
2) all runners reaching the finish lines were technically given instructions while running to do something on the bar code of the bib which is hard for them to grasp due to tiredness and wanting to beat the time
3) medals where not given immediately as you reached the finish lines, which should be the best way to identify the 1st 100 runners per category. They just got the numbers or bar codes and log it in their logsheet, result was a lot of early finishers were contesting. Photos are the best proof of this, I saw it, funny talaga (photo of 2 people running next to each and reached the finish line. The 2nd guy got the medal but the guy who’s in front of him did not get any medal. They were both in the middle of top 100.
4) On the activity area, you will die of thirst, there’s no water, it will take you 30 minutes to get your Pocari Sweat drink super long line. They should have include that drink in the Finisher’s claiming area like all other events.
5) There were no control on putting of medals, they just continously putting medals to all the finishers who were in the line. A father who was with his son in the line to claim the medal almost got a medal, he just rejected it and told the organizer that he was just accompanying his son. No confirmation from the logsheet before putting on the medal (whew!). Worst there were a lot of finishers contesting about the result. We gave them our email addresses to explain the result but of course they never got back to us.
Now the results where posted only 30% has names and my son was on top 35 without any name on the number. (Terrible!!!!)
REMEMBER : These people are helping thru donations and taking their precious time to participate, you should have pay a little respect to all those people who DONATED AND PARTICIPATED! (You should have at least posted the names of the participants after their numbers, YOUR WAY OF THANKING THESE PEOPLE WHO DONATED THEIR MONEY FOR A CAUSE)
BANCO DE ORO – the reason why we selected your event because of our strong confidence in your Bank. These are just simple and small services to your clients and prospective clients. Hope this will be a big lesson to you and the event organizer you got.
Hi Tess.
Guyssss!!!! Wag na mag expect for the pictures, even sa website ng BDO eh walang wenta ang mga pics.as in konti lang and ung mga employees lang nila ang may kuha. nkita ko n! panget
Hi jade,

Dear BDO Race for Life Runners,
Thank you for joining the BDO Race for Life! We apologize for the delayed response to your comments about the accuracy of the race course. The race courses of all categories were measured using the GPS technology with data as follows:
• 3K – exact measurement based on the system
• 5K – had to be shortened by an average of 300 to 400 meter to ensure safety of runners and prevent crowding at the U-turn slot.
• 10K – measured at 10.1 kilometers by GPS
• 15K – measured at exactly 15 kilometers but there was a concern on the actual deployment of directional signs which resulted in the lack of approximately 1.2 to 1.4 kilometers.
As the safety of all runners was our utmost concern, the organizer decided to delay the gun start due to delayed road blocking by the Manila Traffic personnel.
We appreciate all your comments and feedback, rest assured that we shall take remedial action to further improve the effectiveness of our event.
Thank you.
Rubbish race event!
even medals very poor. first time to received fiber glass medal (plastic). its just like a button pin. very far from your sample in your ads.
I just hope the official photogs can facilitate posting their shots. And soon. It’s now almost a month since the run.
This is a poorly organized race event!
nkita k0 n ung pix ng run s site ng bdo, even s0me of bdo empl0yees dming nagreact dhl d maganda results… rather M0ST OF THEM WAS N0T SATISFIED!!!
to all the winners… nainvite b kau para s awarding ng bdo funny fun run!?
well..
