Registered yesterday.. 250 pesos for 10k is very very cheap so register early.. but you still have to claim kits on april 10..

you have measurement for the singlet or any store where we can see sample it? thanks!
The sizes are a bit small but the armholes are thankfully not so tight. You might end up getting one size bigger than usual. They have sample sizes at the Chris sports outlets where you can register.
For 5k is it P250? But in the registration form, why is it P300 for 3k, 5k and 10k?

As long as you register before april 1, you pay only P250.

I see the registration cost is quite cheap, however we can’t say na it’s really worth. We have to consider several factors, i.e. safety, security, others. Let’s see after the run!

in fairness to runrio, even registration fee is quite expensive, they have a very professional organization, more freebies/gifts and medals were given to the deserving runners of 21k.
Just got home from the Good Housekeeping Family Fun Run. We got tons of freebies, very organized ang run, and because kids and dogs were involved, nag-extra effort ang organizers to ensure everyone’s safety. Di kinulang sa marshals, police, etc. hydration stations were well placed. Overflowing ang tubig. SOBRANG organized.
Sa halagang P200. ganda pa ng singlet.
So you don’t really need to pay a lot to join an ORGANIZED run. 🙂

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH ADEVENTS MANILA. Adevents Manila provided us with different sizes of singlet other than what we registered. =( When we talked to Ms. Mary Ann Ringor, she just told us that they ran out of sizes and they gave what were available. 1st, how come there weren’t any available when we registered at the time there weren’t any sample singlet yet? She just said they are pre-ordered. Oh ok… so there weren’t any limit in ordering a specific size then… 2nd, what about the mixed of singlet sizes in race kits? (e.g. Runner A ordered L and received XL while runner B ordered XL and received L). When Ms. Mary Ann Ringor can’t find a reason, she just told us that she’ll get back to us, when she did, here’s her script: “we can give you an option, we’ll refund you with what you paid for and you can run without a singlet”. What kind of an option is this and what kind of client-customer service is this? Ms. Mary Ann Ringor raised her voice and reiterated she’s providing good customer service because she’s getting back to us… How can she say that while her voice raised? – We hope that this would not happen to other runners. Very Bad Experience.
We have just claimed our packs today at Chris Sports – Glorietta, and we got what we have ordered for the size. Only, you have to wait up to an hour because they are congested with customers also claiming for the singlets. Just an opinion, I expect that I cant get my desired size due to many participants to this event. In fact, I prepared my singlet last year in case the new singlet won’t fit me. Its totally fine with me then, afterall, its not the singlet the reason why we run for. We run because we want to, its our passion. Singlet, medal, finisher’s kit are just totally bonus. Maybe I’ll get dissapointed with the organizer if they can’t provide us the Map, Safety while running. Just an opnion guys, nothing personal.

@kervin: this is my opinion: we paid the right amount and early registration; we thought that we will get the right size for us; if the reason is the “passion” then all of us should’ve have not joined this one, we just run where we wanted. giving the right size matters because it gives you the impression that we will have a great run, so ano na iisipin ng iba? sa shirt pa lang mali na paano pa kaya sa day ng run? and pareho tayo sa glorietta kumuha siguro napansin mo how frustrated ang karamihan na mali ang nakuha? kasi mataas ang expectation nila and that’s what we expect
I could not pick up the kits yesterday and only got them this afternoon. Two of the 5 kits I got had the wrong sizes inside. Good thing I checked inside the kits before leaving and was able to exchange them for the correct ones. Mababait ang mga tao sa Chris sports SM annex. They were efficient and friendly. Sana lang na maayos ang run. BGC lang naman, kahit walang map, we can look it up here at takbo.ph. I agree with Kervin though that we join because we like to run, not because we get medals and whatnot.

I manage to repack my group’s package due to misleading singlet sizes, all from 2XL down to S/L/XL upon claiming those in their residencial office. Long travel but just to avoid complaints from my team’s sizes, they replace it. I was accomodated fair enough.

Got our race kits today… i was one of those early registrants of this run… as I remember first day palang ng reg e nagparegister na ako… pero when I open my wife’s kit at home mali ung size nung singlet nya… I ordered a M but what we got was an XL. Tapos ung kasamahan ko na 2 days later sa akin nagpareg got the right size na M… sa makatuwid ako pa ang naubusan ng size.. e nauna ako mag pa register… bakit nag ka ganun? excited pa nmn kmi tapos palpak… pwede pa kyang mapalitan ng size? Hassle namn at babalik pa ako…

to the organizers of this event AT LEAST you should have followed your policy on the “FIRST COME,FIRST SERVE” I WAS THE FIRST to claim our race kits at sm north we thought we can choose the shirt sizes before giving the envelope to us…but i did not, because it was already pre-packed.
YES we run for passion even though the run rates are getting higher and higher. Thats why we joined this race because of the low rate and we’re excited about this race. “Kahit alam po naming wala na kaming magagawa dahil naibigay nyo na sa amin ang race kits… at least man lang po hindi nyo po muna nilagay sa envelope ang shirts at hinayaan nyo kaming makapili ng malapit sa sizes namin… di po ba thats “FIRST COME,FIRST SERVE BASIS?..” sana po sa susunod nyo pong evebt hindi na po ganito ang policies, Kasi maaga rin po kaming nag-registerr para ma-avail yung 50 pesos off sa event na ito… Godbless po sa ating lahat ang thank you.

Hindi ko alam kung hindi sakto ang mga sizes na binigay nila pero ang aga naman nating magregister. event was A-ok considering php400 pesos for 21 km is way so cheap! sana lang next time put some markers kung gaano na kalayo yung natatakbo lalo na nung tumatakbo ng 21km, cause honestly we dont have any idea of our progress, and personally, hirap adjust distribution ng energy cause i run per segment of any of my race
