All race packs must be claimed on the claim dates mentioned above. No race packs shall be issued or may be claimed on race day.
Race packs are non transferable, and shall be issued/released only upon presentation of the Registration Form and Waiver Form signed by the participant.
Unclaimed race packs may be given away by the orgainzers.

My take on last year’s hyundai run: nice singlet, ample hydration, with timing chip, well-organized, but don’t expect a PR. Surely, we should not miss this year’s run.

Hi everyone this is what we have heard so far about the HYUNDAI RUN FOR A CAUSE for 2012. It will be held on 29th of April. Registration will start next month. Registration will be ONLINE. VENUE of the run will once again be the Quirino Grand Stand Manila. The distances will be 5K and 10K. For each category the runners will be sent off by waves. This year both lanes of Roxas Boulevard will be closed for the run. The run will support a number of causes. Each runner will have a choice as to which cause he or she would like to join. Each cause will have a different singlet. JUST LIKE LAST YEAR EVERYTHING IS FOR FREE. EMPHASIS ON FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THE WAY FUN RUNS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE. All you have to do is make an effort to register and then claim your race kits ( usually Race Bib, Timing Chip, Singlet ). One of the venues for the distribution of the race kits is HYUNDAI main office located at Ayala Avenue Makati City. Do be patient when you claim your race kits because for sure the lines will be long. I’ll see you guys during race day. Spread the word. HYUNDAI FUN RUN IS BACK AND WILL BE GREATER THAN LAST YEAR.

They have not announced yet as to where we could register. But based on the info that we gathered registration will be online. No word yet as to the official website or link for the registration.

From what I’ve heard so far there will be a limit on the total number of participants. I just don’t know yet their target maximum participants. So it is much better if you register early. Last year Hyundai extended the registration. I just don’t know for this year, as to whether they will add more slots once all causes have been filled up.

Where will you be coming from? If you’re coming from EDSA take a bus to AYALA. Then alight UNLOADING station after PASEO DE ROXAS. The building directly at the back of the waiting shed of the unloading station is the MAIN BUILDING OF HYUNDAI. The exact address is 6787 KPMG CENTER AYALA AVENUE MAKATI CITY. You can’t miss it there is always a HYUNDAI car displayed at the lobby of the building. The lobby is right beside BPI.

Last I heard online registration starts today. But it seems that the race organizers are encountering some minor glitches. Hopefully they push through with their plans in officially starting the online registration later in the day.

Hi everyone. This is the latest that I’ve heard regarding the run. Race organizers will try and surpass last years number of participants. But not by much. So if last year the total number of registrants exceeded 20,000 it is safe to assume that the maximum number of registration slots for this year will be around that much. So better register early.

Hi everyone just got word from my friend it seems that they are having problems with the disclaimer and regulations for the registration. The ADS department will be trying their best to put out the registration. I really hope that they do soon. The inbox of all phones are already full on queries from my friends and relatives asking if the registration has started. By the way only 3 sizes of the singlet will be available. SMALL, MEDIUM and LARGE. Different design and color for each of the eight causes. Also different design of the singlet for the employees of HYUNDAI. Roxas Boulevard will look like a Christmas Tree come April 29 with all those different colors. Seen the designs and they are awesome. :-}

I’ve seen the look of the site once registration starts it will have the following tabs “HOME”, “RACE MAP”, “RACE PACKS”, “RUN DETAILS” “FINISHER’S VILLAGE”, “CONTACT US”. I guess the run details tab might contain the answer to your question. If not you may try to contact them via the CONTACT US tab.

Hi everyone. Got news about the cause of the delay. The organizers were able to work out all the problems yesterday. All materials and info for the run were already given to the guys who will be uploading everything to the official website. Apparently the web designers were not able to finish the uploads yesterday. Everything will be uploaded anytime soon. Everyone is getting anxious for site to be updated including the organizers and employees.

april 21 to 25 po ung kuhaan ng race kit.. kailangan nyo pong dalhin ung copy nung reg form and waiver nya tsaka photocopy ng isang valid ID nya at valid ID mo, tsaka authorization/endorsement letter na pede mong kuning ung race kit nya.. 🙂

Yes once you have the form you are already registered. Just bring the form together with the other requirements when you claim your race kit.
@slowfinisher, pwede sa ibang site, instead of sa site na diniclair mo sa registration, iclaim ang race pack?
21 is a saturday pala and mas malapit ako sa The Fort kesa sa Ayala. 🙂

Hi jona just open your web browser whether it be internet explorer, google chrome, firefox or what ever browser that you use. Make sure that the browser is the active window then press CTRL+H, your browsing history will come up. Just look for the ones that have “hyundairunforacause http://www.hyundairunforacause.com” in it. Keep on clicking on each one until you are able to locate the registration form that is ready for print out. Just make sure that you do this in the computer that you used to register for the event.

@slowfinisher: i have a question: kaninang morning i registered thru mobile so hindi ko sya na print, and i panic so nag register ulit ako. ngayon ko lang nabasa yung info mo about retrieving the print out…im trying to call din kasi yung sun, globe, smart lines nila pero lowbat yata lahat

good day!.. just to verify.. receiving an email station that i successfully registered for Hyundai Run for a Cause will say that im in? is the Unique Reg Code is enough to say that?
Yes the Unique Reg Code confirms you are indeed registered. But you still need to print and sign the Registration/Waiver form for you to be able to claim your race kit.
Guys u dont have to worry about that on the top menu bar just look for history u can search all your previous search. And for using i pad or tablet or dont have printer its simple just copy the url and send it to ur email add. Once you want to print it just look on your email. Okies. Hope to solve your problem tahnks
One more thing guys if u dont have confirmation email from hyundai you dont have to worry as stated on thier claiming you should to present the reg. form and the code is there as well.

Hindi po sira ang site. Mali lang yong nilagay nila na under maintenance yong site. Puno na po ang registration. Kaya registration was temporarily stopped. I hope they work things out so that more slots will be added.

Friend believe it or not all the slots are filled up. From the time it started at around 10pm last night until 11am today. They are still contemplating as to whether they will add more slots or to declare the registration as officially closed.

Sir don’t worry registration will be re-opened. The slots were quickly filled up. And it was discovered that some participants registered more than once. This issue is now being handled. I would like to appeal to everyone please once registered do not register anymore. Only one registration per runner please. Let’s give the others the chance to be able to participate in the event. Others registered multiple times which took up slots.

Hi po. What exactly is the wrong info in your form mam? As far as I know mam the place you chose where your race kit is to be picked up is final. I don’t think the organizers have enough time to accommodate any change in the pick up points that participants registered. The registrants are very many po. Just imagine po registration was opened at around 9pm last April 3 ( sorry about my post earlier that registration was opened at 10pm ) and all the slots were filled up at around 11am yesterday. In just a span of 14 hour po all slots were taken already. And there are thousands more who would like to register. Now if the organizers will accommodate requests for a change in the pickup area from registrants it will take up more of their time po. And they’ve got little time remaining po. We have a very long weekend because of the Holy Week which shortened their time to prepare for the event even more. Sorry po I can’t help you in changing the place where you can pick up your race kit.

Mam an e-mail address can only be used once to register a participant po. So there is a big chance that only the very first registration using your e-mail ad was registered.

If there will be no changes with what was discussed last Wednesday April 4, 2012, there will be only around 3,500 available slots once registration resumes. I just don’t know how many per cause. But definitely those 3,500 slots will be filled up in no time. So good luck in trying to register. And hopefully organizers do add much more slots so that more runners can join the event.

take LRT from monumento to baclaran then from baclaran take a jeep to alabang zapote from alabang zapote road madaanan mo from your right toyota after, from left honda then from your left hyundai before reaching ATC(alabang town center).
Along edsa, you could take a bus bound for alabang via slex. When you get to alabang market, take a jeep going to zapote. Hyundai alabang is at the right side after passing alabang town center, jollibee and puregold.
I think this is shorter vs passing thru baclaran.

Hi everyone re-opening of the registration is still on hold. The organizers are still working on the database. Apparently there are a lot of people who registered not just twice. Some even registered 3, 4 or even 5 times. But still even with these multiple entries the total number of registrants has exceeded 20,000.
me slots na rin yung mga nka-register(once), though they are cleaning up the database. date of claiming kits still as is no change???
I hope registration open again and would it be great if they accommodate all that would like to register, so that they exceed the 110,000 registrant of run for the Pasig river and set a record
Registration will definitely open again. But I don’t think that the organizers will try and exceed the previous record. Maybe next year.

Registration was re-opened this afternoon but the open slots did not last that long. Registration lasted only for about 30 minutes. No more additional slots will be added this is due to the limited number of race kits. HARI HEADQUARTERS at Ayala Avenue will be open on April 22, 2012 to continue the distribution of the race kits. Letter of authorization can be of any format.

To fellow runners; wag naman po tayong bitter kung di umabot sa registration…Sa announcement na free ang registration ng event na to thumbs up kayo, then nung di nakapag reg, thumbs down na tapos cocompare nyo sa ibang event….I know na marami dito ay kayang may bayad ng mahal para sa fun run at aminado na isa ako dun but my running buddies can’t…Kaya kung ano ang afford ng mga running buddies ko, dun ako nagpaparegister….Masarap tumakbo ng may mga kasama, at higit sa lahat mas masarap tumakbo ng “LIBRE”….kaya nga tinawag na “FUN RUN”…..Kung hindi umabot sa mga free fun run event better luck next time, kung may pera ka for an expenssive fun run go ahead it’s your choice…

We were also not able to print the first time. Pero pwede mong tingnan ang history ng search engine mo and you can still open the link where you can view the acknowledgment of your registration. Doon may link din to open your reg info and you can print or save as pdf.

i have nothing against group running or having the whole company join a running event pero sana nman huwag magHORD yung iba dahil lang free ito. bkit ko ito nasabi? dahil may nakita ako sa pila na nagclaim ng around 20-25 kits at yung photo copy nung ibang ID ay school id ng Kindergarten/Prep na bata at ilan yung school id na nandun. 5 kmi sa family at lahat gusto sumali sa event. 3 lang ni reg ko including me kasi alam ko na sure na tatakbo kami at to give chance to others as well. sana safe at makakatakbo talaga yung mga nairegister na bata. kawawa din kasi kapag nawala yung bata kung tatakbo talaga. over 20k ang nakapag reg. as a parent and a runner myself,concern lang ako. Hopefully mali ako at sana hindi ito mangyari sa ibang event

assembly time for 10k is 4:45am while 5k is 5:45am, gunstart for 10k, fistwave is 5am, second wave at 5:05am, third wave is at 5:10am. while gunstart for 5k, first wave is 6:00am, second wave 6:05am, third wave is 6:10am, fourth wave is at 6:15am. hope this answer your question.

Thank you po s free registration… kaya lang pabalikbalik po ako sa quezon ave. to claim my running kit sa women’s & children’s right the pink one. last saturday 2pm pa lang naubos na daw, last monday 10am naubos na rin kanina 9am wala p, buti na lang dumating na after lunch. dba tyigaan lang… dsame feeling with other runners- yung singlet ay mas malaki pa ung S kaysa M. at hing pang runner yung tabas ng singlet, para sa malalaki ang body. Sa 3rd Hyundai Run try other singlet maker… sori po sa Innove8 Marketing.anyway Thank You & Congratulation po sa HYUNDAI.

May nakikita ko na nagtatanong or nagsasabi regarding mag-bandit sa run.
Sabi ng iba okay lang maging bandit dahil libre naman, kaya hindi talaga bandit.

Safety reasons po. May limit po ang number ng participants sa kahit anong event, be it a a run or a concert.
Hindi ko na explain maige, alam ko gets niyo naman. Isipin niyo na lang yung incident before sa Ultra ng may show ang ABS-CBN. May mga namatay dahil sa dami ng tao.
Lets support the cause, but please follow the rules. Punta kayo and enjoy the place, the event, the show, pero huwag na po mag-bandit. Support niyo na lang ang runners and of course the advocacy of the evernt.
my brother just claimed his race pack today, race bib na lang ang nakuha niya, naubusan na daw ng singlet…ano ba naman kami para mag complain pa di ba?pero di ba dapat kung ilan ang no. ng registrants yun din ang no. ng bibs and singlets. paano nangyari na nauna naubos ang singlet bago ang bib? paano naging control sa race pack claiming?

Based on my last year experience in Hyundai Run, Great Run. Very organized and pinadalhan pa ako thru email na 3 photos. Hindi na lang ako umulit to give way other runnerS.
Maraming comments dito na makakatulong sa organizer next year para macontrol yung registration.
1) dahil free yung magparegister na “buong angkan.’ May danger dito, yung physical health ng tatakbo kung kinder or bata yun hindi healthy para sa kanya ang 5k.
2)yung nagregister ng marami baka yung iba, gawing business ang pagkuha ng singlet.
I’m also with the post of Jay regarding race bandit. Sorry yung nagpost na ang name ay Raj, For the security ng official runners. Never kong narinig from the organizer na tinotolerate yung ganitong instances kahit your running for a cause. I’m not sure if yung post ni 10k ay coming from the official organizer or sya yung official moderator dito. Lalo na last year by wave ang run dito. I think mas marami ngayun.

Well said, sana maging SUCCESSFUL ang RUN na ito like last year, eto dapat ang gawing modelo ng ibang mga patakbo diyan na ginagawang MASAYA ang bawat takbo at di nagiisip ng kung ano anong MAHAL na gastusin sa REGISTRATION FEE palang.
Sana may HYUNDAI RUN FOR A CAUSE parin sa mga susunod na taon, at sana makita ng mga runners ung patutunguhan ng bawat CAUSE neto. THANKS HYUNDAI! MORE POWER!
sana nga lng mging organize next time sa registration at claiming ng singlet. kasi ayun naubos yung singlet pero bib number meron.. how come nangyari yun.. kung may loot bag naman pala dapat ininsert na dun sa loot bag yung lahat ng items para wlang maubusan kasi per bib number ang sorting.. sa nakita ko kasi tumpok tumpok lang yung singlet.. parang kakatapos lang tahiin.. tapos di ko pa inabot yung right color na niregister ko.. thanks pa din hyundai for the free run.. sana next year meron ulit at organized na..
i share the sentinment of ruzz_ordiz. when i claimed my kit, i noticed a person involve in distributing a singlet was placed inside a personal bag. without them thinking at their back is just a glass wall and everything can be seen from the outside. thanks for hyundai for the free run.
Thanks for the free run Hyundai! sentiment lang din ako hindi honest mga tao nyo at hindi tumutuwad sa sinabi nila, nagpunta ako wednesday April 25 530pm claim my racekit, 1 staff nyo sabi naubusan na singlet,paano mauubusan yon 1st day opening ng registration nakauna na kami! in fact may dalwang big boxes pang naiwan dun, and eye to eye kayo if bibigyan ng singlet….branch Hyundai BGC and going mabalitaan ko sa mga runner 6:30pm namigay pah pla kayong singlet… sino kaya ang niloloko nyo.. thank you pa din kc free nga naman bakit pah magrereklamo!!!

nice event @ 10k…. palabati ang mga marshalls, walang problema sa tubig at basura, marami kasing nangongolekta ng mga plastic bottles. ung sa baggage counter lang medyo nagtagal pero overall ganda ng event ng HYUNDAI. maraming salamat sa Hyundai!!

had a lot of fun with my nieces and nephews. It was a good way to start them into exercising instead of playing computer games all weekend. with the added bonus of making them socially aware of whats happening in our society.
