Kennon Global Marathon 2013 21K (Baguio)
The 2nd Kennon Global Marathon 2013 will be held on April 14, 2013 at Kennon Road, Baguio City. Kennon Global Marathon is the first and only uphill marathon in the Philippines. It is targeted to be an annual event that aims to make Kennon Road the ultimate running venue in the country.

Enjoyed the first uphill Kennon run last April 15. Test of endurance and cardio talaga! Thanks for the finisher’s shirt! Sana next year may 42k categ na (Kennon is 41.2km) so start is in La Union or Sison, Pangasinan and maybe you can close Kennon for 7-8 hours early morning and divert traffic to Marcos hway instead. Suggestion lang po.

tama ka dyan. From Sison Bus Stop to Burnham Park is about 43kms so magandang full marathon pero i think malabong maiclose ang road na ito since major road ang macarthur highway at kennon road. kawawa din naman ang mga residente na maabala. maybe a portion of the road will be alloted for the runners will do.

pwedeng malaman kung saan maguumpisa yon 21k at 8k run. para mapaghandahang. at kung may mga age bracket para sa mga sasali or is it open category for all ages.

Wa pa din details 2013 na. I hope ma-post na para mapaghandaan. Unlike NCR runs kailangan mas mahaba prep dito kasi hanap ka pa place to lodge tapos uphill to mas mahaba din time na allot for travel time dapat sat nasa Baguio ka na. May reg ba manila? Pwede ba on race day na pa register if Baguio lang reg place? Ano mode of payment etc. Details pls…

maganda sana itong event for my first ever half-marathon!=)sana makasali ako.
sana i-post na ang race details kasi from Bicol region pa ako (Sorsogon City). mahirap na baka hindi umabot sa date of registration. patay tayo diyan! at tsaka yung preparations pa for the race.

wala pa rin bang balita tungkol sa event na ito… will this push thru or not. Next month is March already and registration should be starting since this February.
Let me know as to where and when can I register…And as much as possible, give us more details about this event.
may I know if this event will push thru.. if ever it will, where can we register to the said event. And another thing it will be just a month to prepare for the 21k just in case.
