Run for the Pasig River 2012 5/15K (QC)
After a successful 11.20.2011 Run for the Pasig River, ABS-CBN Foundation’s Kapit Bisig para sa Ilog Pasig will be staging its fourth advocacy run with the “09.30.2012 Run for the Pasig River” on September 30, 2012. This year’s run will bring to fore the clamor for cleaner rivers and esteros in Metro Manila, while the funds raised will be used to rehabilitate the waterways of Quezon City-San Juan-Mandaluyong-Makati.

Yehey nakarating na rin sa QC Memorial circle ang Run for Pasig River. Same route din po ba sa QCIM going to La Mesa Watershed? Or dadaanan po ba ulet ang Pasig River sa route? Okay lang either way.
Saka pakiramihan po parking guards sa QC Circle uso po doon bukas-kotse gang pag may patakbo doon.

Parang ganun pa rin ang Pasig River. Kadalasan kasi PR lang talaga ang mga ganitong programa at walang konkreto at realistic na target. Just the same tatakbo ako sa running event na ito. At nang matanong na rin ang foundation kung paano ba nila exactly mini-measure ang progress at success ng rehabilitaion ng Ilog Pasig.

Before thinking about joining this event, kindly consider the following:
– Max. Php 1200 for 15K category (expensive, isn’t it?)
– Max. Php 300 for 5K category (Wow. Biglang bumaba)
– no singlet
– no medal
– no clear outcome of their so-called Advocacy. Pasig River? Still dirty. Hahaha
Dude, i agree with you. i always participate in this run not because i wanna be part of history but simply because i do support runs for a cause especially for the children and the environment like this one. i’m a marathon finisher myself but with P1,200 reg fee just for 15K, wow too expensive indeed. i might as well join my nieces and nephews in running the 5K just to show my support but i think they need to explain the skyrocketing reg fee of P1,200.

a. naligaw ka ng venue (baka sa sabungan ka mapunta)
b. natanggap ang swelas ng shoes mo . . dyahe yon kase ang dami kukuhang ng picture and ipopost nila yon sa website
c. nadapa ka na sugat sugat yung tuhod, siko and nguso .. again baka kuhaan ka rin ng pix
d. habang tumatakbo ka at nasa malapit ka na sa finish line, sabihin natin na 200 meters na lang, ng biglang dumating si Montly visitor mo and humalo ito sa pawis mo . nakow for sure isusumpa mo ang running event na ito.
e. and pag me gwapo kang kasabay and tingin ng tingin sa iyo . . at sya ay magiging prince charming mo for the rest of your life . . uyyyyy
