The Million Hectare Challenge 2012 will be held on November 25, 2012 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. The theme of the event is “I Care. I Nurture. I Shape the Future”. The Million Hectare Challenge 2012 Restoring 1 million hectares of Philippine rainforests. And is celebrating its 40 years of biodiversity conservation.

1. Go to any BPI or BDO branch to deposit your registration fee. Keep your deposit slips handy! You will need this to complete your registration.

3. Click on to Register, and provide all information requested in Payment, Personal, and Race Details sections.
4. Read the Liability and Race Agreement and click on “Complete Registration”
5. Wait for your confirmation email from ACT@haribon.org.ph, while we verify your payment and information.
6. Print your confirmation email from ACT@haribon.org.ph and show this at your preferred pick-up location you selected on your online registration form. Valid ID is also needed.
Race kits may be picked up at select Toby’s and Merrell’s stores. Singlets will be available for pick up after November 5.

3k – Apitong (Dipterocarpus grandiflurus) near-extinct. And other members of the dipterocarp family.
5k – Almaciga (Agathis philippinensis) endangered pine-tree
10k – Mangkano/Philippine Ironwood (Xanthostemon verdugonianus)
