just bought a pair of glycerin10 at brooks running lab in SM annex. i thought it was overated by the store and the reviewers in runner’s world, til i tried it. the DNA was amazing, it was as if absorbing
the weight of my body… the crash pad is great. it gives more cushionign and stability. its pretty expensive comparing it to nike or adidas but i think its wiser to buy the best shoes than to buy shoes after couple of running or worse, visit your doctor due to injuries brought by wrong shoes
ive been an ASICS user since i started running. i havent encountered any problems. my performance was great aswell. til ive read couple of reviews about brooks. it was intriguing ( a friend of mine also told me about brooks, funny coz i dont even know what brand it is) i went to some shoes stores like runnr to check if they have brooks. they have but they ran out of stocks, they told me that a brooks boutique has just opened at sm annex. after there assessment to me, they recomemded glycerin or ghost. since i do sometimes supinate, they best recomend glycerin since it has a full DNA that will prevent me from slipping off due to my supination. i then bought glycerin 10. really it was the perfect shoes for me. i was happy with my cumulus but my glycerin was just a perfect. literaly i float with every stride… i highly recomend you guys to check glycerin10. swear youll gonna love it. who doesnt want to fly ????
Thanks for sharing. I also had the Glycerin 8. I liked the shoes and the DNA really makes a difference.
I use the Brooks Glycerine since the model 4. Had all the others. Some of them where good, some bad. On some I could run 1000 kilometers on some only 600. The Glycerine 9 was good. I find the Glycerine 10 not good. They are very noisy and, more important, are very stiff. I ran about 100 kilometers with these shoes and am going to buy some others. Can’t run with them!
