I am running another Milo Marathon in Bacolod

I love running in the provinces.  I find it refreshing to run a new route, less traffic roads, and fresher air.  This October 2012, I’m doing my second Milo Marathon Elims in Bacolod.

I have joined 3 Milo Marathon events so far:  Milo Bacolod (2009), Milo Iloilo (2010), and Milo Marathon Manila (2012).  This year, I am adding two more Milo races in the provinces, Milo Bacolod and Milo Davao.

I usually don’t run the same race twice.  But it just happens that I would be in Bacolod for a wedding on October 14.  The wedding will be in the afternoon.  Since I am free in the morning, why not run a half marathon instead.  Anyway,  I am not part of the entourage.  Only Gab has a part and he will be the ring bearer.

My previous time at the Milo Marathon Bacolod was 2:09.  I don’t think I can beat that this year with my run-walk trainings.  But I hope to keep an average of 6:30 pace.

The route will be different compared to 2009.  I am excited run this route for the first time.

Registration for the Milo Marathon Bacolod is still ongoing at Cool Runnings.  Be sure to bring the 330g empty Milo Pack.  In case, you forgot, just go to the grocery at Lopue’s East nearby.
