List of Philippine Marathons 2013
Here’s the consolidated list of Philippine Marathons for 2013. It will surely be a busy year of training and running. I wish I can join each one of them but I think I might limit myself to six marathons for 2013. That’s a crazy number already. Last 2012, I ran 4 marathons and think I can do more for 2013. How about you? What races will you be joining?
January 13 – UPDATE!!! Milo Marathon Manila Elims will be in July 2013. Plus I got hold of more list of marathons in the Philippines for 2013. It’s hard keep quiet but I can’t divulge them yet. So, I will just post the tentative dates and venues of these proposed marathons so you can somehow prepare for the dates. 😉

- January 13, 2013 – Ilocos Sur Marathon 2013 (Vigan, Ilocos Sur)
- January 27, 2013 – Subic International Marathon 2013 (Subic)
- February 3, 2013 – Condura Skyway Marathon 2013 (Alabang)
- February 23, 2013 – Laoag Marathon 2013 (Laoag, Ilocos Norte)
- February 23, 2013 – Ku Ikaika Marathon 2013 (La Union)
- March 16, 2013 – LUUM 2013 Supermarathon (La Union)
- May 26, 2013 – Kawasan Falls Marathon 2013 (Cebu) – postposed to 2014
- June 23, 2013 – Tacloban City Marathon 2013 (Leyte)
- July 28 2013 – Milo Marathon 2013 – Manila Eliminations
- August 2013 – Bacolod City Marathon 2013
- August 18, 2013 – Kagay-an Festival Marathon 2013 (Cagayan De Oro)
- August 25, 2013 – Bohol Marathon 2013 (Bohol)
- October 6, 2013 – Unilab Run United Philippine Marathon 2013 (SM Mall of Asia)
- November 2013 – Dumaguete Adventure Marathon 2013 (Dumaguete)
- November 2013 – ??? Marathon (SM Mall of Asia)
- December 1, 2013 – PryceGas International Marathon 2013 (Cagayan De Oro)
- December 2013 – Milo Marathon 2013 – National Finals
- December 2013 – Quezon City International Marathon 2013 (QC)

hmm. maraming magkakasabay na 42k. it gives choices to runners but opportunity sana for 42k organizers up north to attract out-of-town runners by scheduling the event around march to june. for metro manila runners who want to escape heat of summer by going northwards where it is relatively cooler. ang dami na ng pinoy 42k events! yahoo! congrats!

The mystery marathon in November is the revival of the Philippine Airlines (PAL) International Marathon. It will be held on November 17, 2013 at the SM Mall of Asia.
I guess the mystery marathon of March will remain a mystery since it is almost two weeks away and yet there is no announcement. Perhaps it will be moved to another date.
meron napo ba ulit PAL MARATHON? naririnig ko lang ito sa mga kaibigan kung matatanda na sa takbuhan… nung time daw nila eh itong event na ito for 50php may mga bigas pang naiuuwi.. 🙂
wow 4 marathons a year?!!
Some sad news, this year’s Kawasan Falls Marathon will be moved to March of 2014. The reason given was the coming elections in May.
I feel just as sad. I almost bought plane tickets for this.

I think the mystery marathon that was earlier listed for tomorrow (March 10, 2013) is really tomorrow’s Phoenix Fuels Araw ng Dabaw Marathon at SM Lanang. Too bad I did not find out about it much earlier.
Just wondering when is MILO Marathon? Route? Is there a website where I can find out more info? I’m hoping to run this race with my hubby when we visit PI. I appreciate it. Blessings
Hi JME. Milo Marathon – Manila Elimination Leg will be on July 28. No details on registration yet. It will be probably be announced by May.
