[Admin-MCP] Tatlo po sa mahal ko sa buhay ang pumanaw dahil sa kanser – kanser sa baga, kanser sa thyroid, at kanser sa dugo. Madalas, ang dahilan ay kakapusan ng pangtustos sa gamutan. Ang isang Ate ko naman po ay nakaligtas sa breast cancer, ngunit ang kanya pong gamutan ay inabot nang mahigit isang milyong piso.
Ang malasakit po sa ibang patuloy na nakikipaglaban sa sakit na kanser ang dahilan kung bakit ako ay nagboluntaryo sa Corridor Of Hope.
Personal po akong nagpapasalamat sa mga nagpapa-abot ng tulong sa proyektong ito. Sa iba naman po, pang-unawa po ang aking hinihingi na huwag po sana natin gawing biro ang kanser dahil hindi po ninyo ito nanaisin na danasin ng sinuman sa inyong mahal sa buhay.

i dont think the price is too much …enough lang to help those cancer patients…your not naman oblige to join you guys always have an options to choose from…

I second the motion . .. this is for a cause run .. not a competition .. if you think this is costly, there are other runs that will fit your budget .. love kita Larchelle 🙂
Marami naman at halos yata lahat e run for a cause pero yung iba kahit papano mura lang dahil gusto nila marami tumakbo. Lets say 100 runners lang mag reg for 800,(80,000) pero kung gagawain nila atleast P500 at may tatakbo ng 1000 runners (500,000) mas malaki makukuha nila ang kung madami sponsor konti lang expenses ng org.
Kahit papano papasok dito yung “LAW OF SUPPLY AND DEMAND”.

i agree with larchelle too. it is a charity run. nobody is forcing anyone to join. there are other runs for you to join. sad to think that you just want to run for finisher shirts and medal.:-(

How come One BMS at AMCham runs run for a cause yung mga un pero 10 k nila is P500 at P600 respectively. Hindi purke run for a cause pwede ka na mag charge ng napakamahal. I try to join a run once a month but may certain budget lang ako. mas priority ko ang run for a cause over lootbags, medal, fshirt. pero dapat reasonable naman.

Papadala po kami ng 150 plus runners dito kung sasabihin nyo kung ilan percentage ng reg fee ang mapupunta sa may cancer? and pano po systema nito? madami kaze mangloloko lang.
150 is a lot. Yung nga gusto ko point out ilang percent ng reg fee ang talagang i-allocate for the cancer patients. Magandang adhikain to no doubt but sa taas ng rates na yan reasonable ba lalo’t dipa mention kung may medal o f-shirt. Linawin lang po ng husto ang details. Ty

Thank you all for your comments and for airing your concerns. The heart of this run is focused on the beneficiaries. We really do want to give out finisher’s medals/shirts to participants. However, having the beneficiaries in mind, we would want to rather allocate the fund which will be raised to Corridor of Hope. The bigger the amount we could raise, the more cancer patients we could help. Again thank you all very much for the support.

I will run for my mom who died last Sept 2012, after 9 months of battling against cancer. I believe na yung reg fee ay tama lang para makatulong sa mga cancer patients dahil costly tlaga ang maintenance nila. I will definitely run for this cause. Tama ang Run Against Cancer, the bigger the amount na maireraise, the more cancer patients ang matutulungan natin. -Run for life of cancer patients.

kung talagang gusto nyo makatulong sa mga may cancer, dapat babaan nyo lang ang reg. fee, mas maraming sasali mas malaki ang kikitahin nyo, mas marami kayo matutulungan. Marami po gusto tumakbo kaya lang medyo limited lang ang budget.
Gusto ko sana sumali dito kso masyado mataas ang fee ng 5k na 700. Sa Run for Justice na lang ako sasali 400 lng ang 5k.

Dahil sa ang pinakamataas ng porsyento ng kanser ay dulot ng paninigarilyo, pwede bang bigyan po ninyo ng diin ang takbo na ito ay pagkontrol o pagsugpo sa paninigarilyo? Sa ganoong paraan, mababawasan mo ng malaking bilang ang mga biktima ng kanser kahit na di ka mag fundraising. Kung may malilikom kang pondo, eh di mas maganda. Kung ang patakbo mo sa susunod ay tatawagin mong RUN AGAINS CIGARET SMOKING, then marami kaming sasali.
