Manila Bay Clean-up Run 3 2013 21K/10K/5K/3K (CCP)
Manila Bay Clean-up Run 3 will be held on July 14, 2013 at CCP Ground, Pasay City. The aim of this event is to raise funds for the drive to cleanup the Manila Bay of trash and pollutants. And as well as to raise awareness among Filipinos to take care of our environrent and preserve our city’s natural beauty, starting with the picturesque ecology of the Manila Bay. The Manila Bay Cleanup Run is a fund drive organized and managed by The Manila Broadcasting Company.

This my third Run. Last year meron Finisher medal ang 16k Finisher. Now wala sa 21K. Why? Im planning to skip this time for the Run fest which offered better freebies this time.
More freebies sa runfest, but more expensive… the extra cost is for the freebies, which in case i think is not much of a freebie after all. Cheers.

Runfest ang kasabay. they have Finisher Medals to 3k,5k,10k & 21k shirts to all finisher and lootbags with freebies. This is my 3rd Run since d race started. Hope d organizers offer more attractions in return of the value of moneys.
Manila Bay Cleanup Run and Takbo.ph Runfest are scheduled on July 14. Manila Bay Cleanup Run must reconsider its race date if it wants reasonable runners turnout.

Fundraising running events with green advocacies are worth promoting and supporting. But can the race organizer provide information on how the proceeds will be used?
The Title itself said Manila Bay Clean Up…so it means cleaning up the Manila Bay ….
Pang ilang Manila Bay Clean Up Run na kasi to eh, may nalinis na ba sa Manila Bay or kahit papano may nagbago na ba? Parang Run for Pasig, naka ilang event na na ganun ang tema pero may nalinis/nabago na ba sa Ilog Pasig? 😀
Thank you for your comment. Rehabilitating a water system is really hard. Di lang po solid waste ( direct nating nakikita sa manila bay or pasig river) ang nakaka dumi sa water systems natin. Solid waste is only very minimal. Pinaka malaking usapin po ang dumi na nanggagaling sa mga bawat puso negro ng mga kabahayan sa Metro Manila, which all drains to our river system and goes to Manila Bay. So malaking usapin po ang pag rehabilitate – clean up ng manila bay and pasig river. Every single effort could help.

Up until now wala name namen sa result ng 10k finishers ng petron run for safety. Napakadaming reklamo pero wlang feedback. ang dami p nman naasa sa official time nila.
