The Earth Run last year was the dirtiest & one of the more unorganized fun runs of the year. I hope the organizers of this year’s run is different. This is for mother earth for crying out loud! Make it organized please. It is already an expensive run. Make it worth our (the runners) while.
I agree with Francis. I attended last year it hoping for the best. What happened was quite the opposite of what we were runnning for.

Sana i move yung gunstart to at least 4:30am sobrang init na yung 7am ngayon kahit best effort di ko pa kakayanin tumakbo ng 21k in under 2 hours pano pa kaya yung sa iba that takes more than 3 hours XD

I registered online last March 16. I sent an email and haven’t heard from them. Until now, I have no idea when the race kit be delivered.

Just went to the Greenbelt 3 registration kiosk this morning. Sadly no more singlet size L, XL. And to add up to the frustration, no assurance that you can still get those sizes even if you register.

Organizers, takbo.ph already helped you to promote this program. The least you can do is to monitor the queries regularly and provide feedback especially sa mga nakapagbayad na. Pasintabi na lang pero parang ginagamit na lang kasi ang mother nature para makalikom ng funds eh.

Please note that this race will provide refillable water bottles instead of disposable plastic glasses. While we commend the organizer for the green initiatives we hope that hydration will not be chaotic as runners swamped each water refilling station to refill their empty water bottles.

The Earth Day run 2012 was not well organized. Few hydration stations and poorly illuminated if not totally dark segments of the route are just two of the glitches I can remember. And now for 2013, even pre-run concerns are not properly addressed: un-answered on line queries, unavailability of singlets, undelivered race kits, no finisher’s medal, no banana stations, late gun start for 21K considering the summer season, and considering that running has become a deadly sport already. And did they tell how they’re gonna plant trees for the runners, or where they’re going to plant? I just hope this is not just a money making scheme, taking advantage of the present enthusiasm of runners. At any rate, goodluck to those who will run this event.

Napaka walang kwentang organizer nitong earth day run na to..nagtext sila sakin telling me na kunin ko nalang sa greenbelt yung race kit ko kasi unknown consignee. When I called them sabi sakin ang sabi daw samin walang nakatira ditong ganyang pangalan, sabi ko nga panu nangyari yun e more than 4 years na kaming nakatira sa address na yun. And I asked them kung bakit hindi manlang ako kinontak thru phone nung dineliver sabi sakin d nila alam. Nagtataka ako kung bakit hindi nadeliver kasi everyday akong nasa bahay since 9pm to 6am ang pasok ko sa Makati and andun pa yung yaya nung pamangkin ko pero wala naman nagdeliver ng race kit. Sabi ko pa sakanila kaya ako nag online registration kasi for my convenience din. Yung pag out ko sa opis na 6am tas 10am pa yung bukas ng greenbelt edi itutulog ko nalang sa bahay namin kasi may pasok pako kinabukasan. Sbi ko pa kung weekends naman since sa QC ako nakatira edi ipapadeliver ko nalang para d nako mamasahe at yung time na pagkuha ko sa greenbelt e pde ko nang ipahinga nalang. Ang sagot sakin sir ndi lang naman kayo yung unknown consignee eh, madami rin pero kinuha na nila yung race kit nila sa greenbelt. Parang sinasabi sakin na wag na daw ako magreklamo at gawin ko nalang yung sinasabi nila. When I told them cge kukunin ko nalang sa Greenbelt pero dapat irefund nila yung pera ko since d nman nadeliver yung race kit sakin ndi na daw pde kasi nagamit na yung 125 na payment. Sbi ko pa nga naiintindihan ko na it’s not their fault, sabi ko pa kaya ko sinasabi yun kasi para next time na may earth day run uli may proseso na sila na let’s say ndi nadeliver yung race kit e irefund nalang nila kesa yung umaabot pa sa point na pinagdidiinan nila na kunin mo nalang sa greenbelt. At ang sagot sakin ni girl isang napaka sarcastic na “Ay sir Maraming maraming maraming salamat po sa feedback niyo ha”. Our conversation went to the point na sabi sakin tawagan ko nalang LBC then they gave me the tracking number and LBC number. When I called ang sabi sakin pde pa madeliver yun basta magfifile ng complaint c organizer. I then dropped the call and called the organizer again sabi ko kailangan sila ang tumawag para mag file ng complaint. Ang sagot sakin ay sir nakapagfile na po kami, pero cge magffile nalang kami uli. That call was around 8am. Natulog muna ko pag gising ko ng 12noon I called LBC and asked them kung may complaint bang nakafile sa tracking number na yun then ang sabi ni LBC “wala po sir”. Yan ba ang klase ng organizer? nung iniinsist ko na refund sa delivery sabi sakin sir mag email nalang kayo sa secretariat pero for what? yung call nga d na nila masolusyunan panu pa kung email. I don’t know kung pano ko ieescalate to sa Nat Geo but if you guys have an idea please let me know. Hindi pde yung ganito lang, kailangan gawan ng aksyon yung ndi nila tamang proseso. This is not just for me pero para din dun sa ibang ndi nadeliver yung race kit kahit nagbayad naman sila.

nagpunta ako sa GB3 april 16 around 7:45pm ang daming tao pero nagulat ako close na ung registration eh ang sabi nila ang cut off time is 8pm madami din sana magreregister pero wala pang 8 close na nila registration dahil daw mapapatayan daw sila ng ilaw ng mall at mag iinventory at magbibilang ng sales in that day.. kawawa naman ung mga naghabol dun ung iba galing pa ng pampanga para magregister lang hindi rin napagbigyan kahit umabot na ung complain sa admin ng mall.. may nakausap ako dung ale umabot ng registration for 3k category paid na pero wala rin ung race kit sabi sa kanya kailangan daw nyang balikan for claiming?? ng race kit haha.. waste of time mo dto ok lang sana kung malapit ka lang eh pano ung mga malalayo? ngayun binago na nila ginawang 7pm cutoff time.. sorry guys! eto ung mga obserbahan ko goodluck sa mga runners! =)

Hi, I would like to share my sentiments regarding this event. I went to register yesterday at greenbelt 3, pass 7 nko nkadating. I was prompted that they cannot accomodate me because ng cut off na daw sila ng 7pm. I told them na ang nklagay sa website its until 8pm. Kelan nyo inimplement yan? Kanina daw umaga. Sbe ko I came all the way from muntinlupa tpos d ako mkaka register. To cut it short d ako nka register. I ask the event organizer if what is the best time to go at kung avail pa un category ko na 3k..Ang sbe nya opo mam. 11 am po pra mkuha nyo pate un race kit nyo.

NATGEO EARTH DAY RUN REMINDERS 2013
1. We are concerned about the heat and temperature on race day. We want you to finish strong so we adjusted the gun start earlier for 21K and 10K. New gun start for 21K is 4:00 am. New Gun Start of 10K is 5:00 am. Assembly time is one hour before.
2. We encourage you to use your EDR bottles but water will be provided all throughout the course. Energy drinks are also provided at the finish line.
3. Security will be tight as your safety is our utmost priority. Please allow at least 1 hour before gun start for parking and baggage deposit. We ask you to please cooperate with the organizers and our security personnel.
4. Certificate of Participation for all categories will be available for claiming as early as 4:00 am. You need not finish to claim your certificate.
5. 21K Finisher stubs will be given to you at the finish line. Please present this to claim your specially made ILLEST Finisher Shirt.
6. Please part at the designated parking areas

Why do I need to connect my chip to my facebook?
This allows us to determine which timing chip the user was assigned. The use of the activation code also prevents other people from just claiming any bib number.

Ask ko lang po mga sir, dahil may water bottle na… Magpprovide pa ba sila nung ones in plastic cups? Kasi mejj mabigat and nagbbounce yung bottle nila once na nilagay mo na siya sa bib belt.
