adidas King of the Road (KOTR) Philippines 2013 10/16.8K (BGC)
The adidas King of the Road (KOTR) 2013 will be on July 7, 2013 at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The 2013 edition of the adidas KOTR will allow runners to choose between the 16.8K and 10k race categories. The 16.8K-distance will have two sub-categories—Closed, which will be exclusive for Filipinos, and Open category for all nationalities. Male and female runners who will top the race from the Closed category will be crowned as the Philippines’ King and Queen of the Road and will represent the country in the adidas KOTR Southeast Asia Championship in Malaysia later this year.

REGISTRATION FEES
Race fees are as follows: P1,300 for the 16.8K race; P1,100 for for the 10K regular race; and P800 for for the 10K students’ race. Runners signing up for the 10K students’ race will have to present vaild student IDs (must be valid until July 7, 2013) at the registration sites.
There is also a discount for runners that sign up in large groups. Participants who register with their friends and family at the same time at the registration site get the following discounts:
Group of 10 runners = Php100 off each
Group of 15 runners = Php150 off each
Group of 20 runners = Php200 off each

There are two ways to sign up for this year’s adidas King of the Road Philippines:
1. Visit http://adidaskingoftheroad.com/ph and register online by filling up all the required fields (not available for 10KM Relay for Students). Online registration is open from May 2 to June 23, 2013.
2. Visit any of the seven (7) adidas KOTR 2013 registration sites in the following stores —adidas Greenbelt 3, adidas SM Mall of Asia, adidas SM Megamall, adidas Powerplant, adidas Trinoma, adidas Two Parkade (Bonifacio Global City), or Runnr at Bonifacio High Street. Onsite registration is open from May 2 to June 30, 2013.

walang masama kung every sunday ka sumali sa mga fun run.. ang mahirap kung kulang ka sa training lalo na kung mahaba ang tatakbuhan mo…maybe 10, 10, 10 21k for the whole month of june then rest muna for one week.. ang mahirap lang pag every sunday ka tumatakbo is yung gastos… daming registration nun hehehehe…darating din naman sa time na mamimili ka na din ng tatakbuhan.. mas maganda kasi kung tatakbo ka is na improve mo yung previous run mo.. gud luck ang enjoy running…

got my race kit this afternoon. the singlet is very nice! however, i was disappointed that instead of the drawstring bag (as shown above) it was just an ordinary black bag used to place both the singlet and the bib.

10 am nasa trinoma ako 3pm nagbigay ng racekit tapos wala pang avail ng mga sizes ,mga tira-tira ng BGC,grabe kawawa ang mga RUNNERS
Arrived in Adidas BGC 6pm, medyo may pila na, pero excite ako na makukuha ko na racekit. So hinintay na namin, di ko alam na tatagal pala ng 2 hours yung pila na yun (Around 20-30 people. Tapos wala ng Small at Large para sakin at sa mga kasama ko. Puro medium na lang tapos isang color na lang ang choice, yung ayaw pa namin na kulay. Grabe pagka disorganize at bagal ng service! Tsk tsk tsk!
Adidas MOA wala din mga sizes! para saan pa kung nag pareserve ka ng size pero hind mo din pala makukuha ang size mo. nag kakagulo na din ang mga runners sa MOA wala maisagot ang mga taga ProActive!
Proactive anung ginawa nyu sa kotr? we can understand na yung color wala pero pati ba naman yung size? Ang akala ko ang idea eh to get the number of singlet and size to have better preparation and distribution kaya hindi on the spot registration binigay yung singlet. Very disappointing event handler.
Same issue with MOA, after pumila ng almost 3 hours, wala ng size. Agad agad! Nakakapagdilim ng paningin kanina. Alam naman nila ang profile/body built ng mga Filipino runners sumablay pa sa sizing. From XS to medium ako. Ganun kalayo ang agwat ng specs. sana ininform na “Dress” pala ang ending singlet, sana sinamahan ng belt para mas swak. Binibiro ko lang, pero sobrang dissapointed talaga ko.
kawawa yung staff kanina ng adidas, ang daming tumatawag, di na nila alam gagawin nila, yung ibang runners naman nakita na nahihirapan na yung mga staff, sa kanila pa binabato yung galit…

wala ng XSmall so Small nalang nakuha kong singlet, tapos Orange singlet nalang ang may Small size, sa sobrang pagod wala na akong pakealam kung ano pa ang makuha kong singlet color or size, basta kahit racebib nlng ang ibigay nila.
nung nakuha ko na yung sa akin mahaba pa ang pila sa likod ko at yung iba pinapabalik nalang bukas.
sorry pero sobrang disappointed lang talaga ako. yung iba sinakripisyo na nila ang oras nila, karamihan nag absent nlng sa work or school, tapos yung iba sa malayong lugar pa galing.

this is a “king of failure event”…sa umpisa pa lang ang dami ng hinanaing mga runners na nagbayad, during da registration ay napakabilis ng proseso pero during the claiming and distribution of race kits ay napakabagal….sa tingin ko ay mas madali pa kaming makarating sa finish line kesa sa tagal ng pag aantay ng race kit…kinakabahan ako at baka during sa claiming ng finisher’s kit, hydration at iba pang freebies ay aabot ng 5-10hrs.

Had anyone tried to use one of the vouchers? Like that P400 voucher? I was at Adidas SM Megamall yesterday and the staffs are not aware of the voucher and one of the staff even told me that they are just a Franchise and no advice yet was given to them!
napaka failure talaga nitong event na to… mahal ng binayad ng mga runners tapos ang daming complaints.. hindi organize ang distribution… lalo sa trinoma, 10 am nakalagay pero 3 pm dumating mga singlet… almost 300 na runners andon pero sabi 100 lang daw maaacommodate nila… kawawa mga may pasok sa school at trabaho.. magahpan nakatayo don… lalo na siguro sa claiming ng freebies…
I am so disappointed I have not received any call from Adidas reg my singlet size, color and did not verify my address yet!!! I registered 2 months ago and no call. I need a refund and get my hard earned money back!!!!! This is so frustrating knowing that this is one of the events I look forward to every year. Never will I join this Adidas shit again!

tulad po kanina nung nag-claim kami ng girlfriend ko sa BGC (claiming started 1pm according to their text message), we arrived 2pm at medyo maikli pa ang pila at medyo organized at mabilis lang… meron isang lalaki na nag-claim ng tatlo ata yun na racekits…ang sabi ba naman sa staff e, “kuya yung sa singlet kung may small, small na lang pero kung may XS e XS na lang”… ano daw???? kuya ano ba nakalagay sa claim stub mo???? e diba may mga sample singlet sizes naman nung nag-register??? (si kuyang staff naman bigay ng XS na singlet… kawawa naman tuloy yung mga nagregister na totoong XS yung niregister nila)
i think isa din yang mga ganyang gawain kaya nauubos agad yung singlet sizes e… na kung nung nag-register palang e inayos na nila yung pagbigay ng singlet size, edi sana mas madami yung smaller sizes kung yun talaga yung maraming nagregister ^_^

We went to register and expect the write size for our singlet we waited for a month but still wrong size.
There should be an organization who monitors this to protect all runners.

i always ask for a large size siguro naman kasya sakin yun….anyways in your case i suggest wear different singlet you are comfortable with. marami na nga ako nababasang comment about dun sa sizes ng singlet nila.

Jason, sa proactive ph din .. morning ko nakita, andun yung details ng time, yung pag ilan ka sa age bracket, pang ilan ka overall, kumpleto details at isang picture na mala artistahin (ako yon). Then ang dami kong nakitang comment na mali daw yung time, na based sa GPS eh mali daw yung result ng proactive. .ayon pag tingin ko ulit ng hapon, redirect ka na agad or missing link yung address. . . baka aayusin nila.. . sana . .
