Very disapointed with the run!!! 10k naging 6.5k! Very disorganized!!! What a shame to the event!
I’m not happy with this event , organizers need to explain what happened to the 10K route ?

Very dissapointed!!! The marshals are lousy and failed to inform 10k runners that we need to repeat the route to market market!!! LOUSY!!!!!!
kulang sa orientation mga marshalls, yong 10k route na naka post ay di nasunod lalo na dun sa kalsada adjacent to market market, dapat tig 2 u-turns dun at naging isa na lang…kaya kinulang ang 10k…dapat may refund kami dun sa nawalang distance ng 10k namin, 10k binayaran namin at dapat ay 10k din sana tinatahak namin at distance na itinakbo…
one of the worst runs I’ve experienced. Some water stations ran out of cups and only 2 persons are assisting. Ang tagal mo tuloy naka-antay sa water station.
What? We’re supposed to do another loop near MArket-Market?
THere were LOTs of Marshalls around and there were NO CLEAR signs nor directions from the MArshall to do another loop.
Question , did the front runners do the full 10km as well?
kung hindi ba naman mga BOBO kayong mga runners kayo at lahat isisi nyo sa organizers! magbasa kayo bago kayo tumakbo! napakalinaw ng maps na ibinigay, gamitin nyo mga mata nyo! although hindi rin dapat palampasin ang mga organizers na nagkulang sa pag-orient sa mga marshals na kinuha nila!
Naintindihan namin na may mapa, pero kaming hindi familiar sa global city of course mahirap sundan if we just based on the map. Hassle naman kung me dala dala ka map while running, buti sana kung umaga yun. Still, we enjoyed it naman, maganda rin na mag comment so they can improve it next year in case they will organize again.
Bobo ka pala e ano yun treasure hunt kailangan kabisaduin yung map. Dapat dun may guide lalo nakung pagod ka na iintindihin mo pa ba yung direction.bobo

isa ka na sa mga pinaka-BOBOng runner dito @Roadrunner na hindi mo man lang inintindi ang mapa. kahit na ang mga treasure hunter sa mapa lang dumedepende. napaka-BOBO mo. naging treasure hunt pa yun kung kaisado mo naman pala puntahan. nakakaawa ang kaBOBOhan mo!
isa lang ang maganda sa race na yon, si regine tolentino lang ata…peace.
Was at the race, good points: well organize ang baggage area at may assigned numbers, well attended an daming tumakbo.
bad points:
1, kakalito ang ruta, dami nagkaligaw ligaw, kasi lmited yung road kaya parang paikot ikot lang. anjang sabihin ng marshall na o isang ikot pa.. tapos tawid na kayo dito ha ha parang tanga lang.
2. dami runners pero makitid ang daan
3. Limited supply ng tubig sa drinking stn (ala man lang gatorade ha ha)
4. after ng race wala man lang sponsors like freebies na mga food
parang super dry ang event. ang maganda yung papa johns run with pba players at yung dzmm takbo para sa karunungan.
Panong hindi magkagulo 30 mins. before the run, hindi pa naka set-up ang marshall at yung mga water station kasi nadaanan namin.
Newei, wala namang perfect talaga. still i will join fun runs… despite of disappointments.
I am troubled that despite the funding and sponsorship of multinational corporations this running event had been bombarded by negative comments due to the failure to provide the basic race support such as secured route and ample hydration. I had warned runners in this forum to prepare for possible race miscues such as water bottle refilling stations queuing but no one listened. Do not forget dismal running events and organizers. Remember the name and stop supporting them.
Sablay race! I beg to disaggree with you cristine alex! hindi dinadala ang map during the run. saka nagkandaligaw ligaw ang mga runners gawa ng mga marshalls at sa d maayos na markers. Sa tingin mo sino ang may kasalanan non? runner ka ba? try mo tumakbo ng may map na dala. baka madapa ka pa. boom!

Saka ang dilim at headlight lang dala to check the map. Newei am not arguing JUST PEACE TO ALL. life is too short to say stupid things to hurt others. Cheer up!

fyi, i am a runner dats why im sick of all those whining runners na walang ginawa kundi isisi ang lahat sa organizers. hindi ko nman sinabing walang pagkukulang ang organizers pero bakit nagawang tumakbo ng tama ng ibang runners db? also, i did tried running with a map in hand during my first running days. it helped a lot and i see nothing wrong with it. just saying.

Ok Cristine Alex, thanks for educating us. Am actually active now in running at least once a week so i tried joining those fun runs. Sige from now on, iintindihin ko yung map at loopS kasi i always depend on the signage and marshalls along the way. May mga events kasi na hindi nakakalito “straight path lang as in to and from”. mga taga brooks sm annex, isusulat nalang pangalan ng mga registrants mali-mali pa. ang name ko time ng wife ko, ang time naman ng wife ko ibang tao. palpak talaga etong event na to sa umpisa palang. napaka-dry!
bat ganun ang result kulang2, pagka check ko BIB # ng kaibigan ko ang nakalagay sa name ko pati ung mga kasamahan ko wala din eh sabay2 naman kme 2makbo?

We have to look at the positives of the event despite its major flaw in the race course management.
