as for my point of view… i run because i want to run…because i love to run…i paid 3500 just for registration alone, transient, food and fare are not included…it is because i want to run…what did i got, nothing but pain…im not saying im rich, that i can afford to pay for that(im sure lots of people can pay more like the triathletes)…im just saying, if you want(love) to run on a particular event just pay what is the amount and run…700 is still cheap compare to others, plus the fact that someone would benefit from it…if you’ll keep on complaining, just dont run…organizers have their reasons, they’ve all planned it…just stop saying s**t and stop complaining…run i you love to run and don’t if money is a very big issue to you…as simple as that…!!!

ung iba dito, umaangal sa registration fee, well take note, hindi naman para sa inyo to, nakakasawa na magbasa ng comments na instead to inspire others, puro angal. kung ayaw nyo tumakbo,e di wag, maluwag ang kalsada ng alas dose ng madaling araw hanggang ala saiz. pambihira, isipin nyo nga ang bayad sa kalsada, pati sa gusto nyong medal? konting sakripisyo naman para sa ibang kapus-palad na walang pambili ng sapatos.

Looking forward to take 42K. Sana di bumigay tuhod ko. I already experience the 32k of RU3.
While there is the inevitable price increase due to the poor performing national economy, the price of the MILO Marathon (42.195 kilometers) remains cheaper than all other Marathons and most 21-kilometer races. The same can be said for the other categories which are way much cheaper than most races of similar distance.

it should be much cheaper sir, not this cheap cheaper coz milo is already gaining from the publicity it is getting from the event. dont compare it to other marathons which are all money-making events.
Para s mga may skit n tulad ko, ang P700 maliit yan kumpara sa P5K n monthly maintenance ko before plus the fact n madalas akong mahospital (ave. of 40K per confinement) dhil s diabetes. Dahil s running, P210 n lang gastos ko per month ang believe me Ultramarathon n ang pinaghahandaan ko ngayon. Kaya ako sumasali sa mga running event pra wag bumaba ang determination ko to fight my illness at makatulong n rin 2lad ng nabanggit ni Terinz. Tama si SERVINIO, pinakamakatao ang reg fee ng MILO. Tandaan nyo mga Katoto, Hindi mkukumpleto ang pagiging runner mo kapag hindi ka nkatakbo s 42K ng MILO.

@allan wag mo na pong pilitin pag hindi mo kaya ang 42k, good for u kasi ngayon pa lang eh alam mo ng hindi mo kaya… 21k po muna and aim to run 42k next year… marami pang MILO na darating… napakasarap ng 42k kung proper trained ka pero kung mahihirapan ka lang eh baka maisumpa mo pa ang marathon… 🙂

meron pong cut-off time lahat ng distance… pero yung FM lang (for Manila Elims) and HM lang (for Provincial Elims) ang qualifiers… yung mga nag-qualify lang ang pwede sumali sa FM sa Finals… pero yung rest of the distance e open po para sa lahat sa Finals

hi, tingin ko po kakayanin nyo ang 21k sa cut-off time. sinunod ko advice saken nung isang runner na nakasabay ko sa nuvali. gawin ko lang daw ” mag short run pag weekdays and long run pag week ends + right food and diet” dati nakukuha ko ang 21km ng 3hrs, ngaun 1 hr 50 mins na.

June 22, 2013 5PM nagkaron ng slots 10km t0 42km sa Riovana BGC (that day nagdeliver sa lahat ng venue). Hinintay namin yung delivery from 12pm-5pm… sulit nman paghhintay at dumating… now registered na sa 21km with my friends… dunno kung ubos na yung mga nadeliver last Saturday… better hurry and contact Riovana and Tobys kung meron pa 10-42km… or else next delivery na kayo….

I think mali yung sukat ng 42k, base sa GPS ko its almost 44k.
same here willy 44kms din lumabas sa GPS watch ko (soleous) the I ask my friends na naka garmin sobra sya ng 50meters daw.
Tingnan mo sa mapa yung data galing sa GPS mo at makikita mong lumulundag ang signal kapag may mataas ng building, gaya ng sa Buendia at BGC.
Aljo, I’m sure sobra talaga sa 42.195k, very reliable yung GPS ko, and hinde ko lang siya ginagamit sa pang takbo, I’m also using it sa biyahe ko, pauwi-papasok sa office. Take note, lagi ako dumadaan sa Makati, BGC and McKinley, accurate to sa kilometer ng auto ko. Don’t tell me mali yung kilometer ng kotse ko. Thanks!
base sa gps 22.2K yung sa 21K … ano kaya paliwanag dito…
milo doesnt use GPS for measuring distance…ginagamit po nila ung “Calibrated bicycle method”(method of measurement only accepted by AIMS)…they use bike with an odometer…ung mine-measure nung bike ung shortest legal path na pdeng takbuhin ng runner…so next time po try “running in tangents”…para ndi masyado sobra ung measurement na nakukuha ng GPS watch nyo…
okay that means to run in any course… it is a must to take the shortest possible route… with respect to “tangent”
Bakit sa 21K 2:45 time ng friends ko eh may medal (15 minute extension of cut-off). Ako sa 42K 6:04 ang time wala ng medal… Unfair naman ata. I thought the 6 hour limit starts after all runners passed the starting line… hope Milo reconsiders.

Bakit po hindi magkapareho yung finishing time namin sa nakalagay sa finish line saka yung race result na naipost nila sa site? Lima kaming tumakbo ng 5k lahat hindi po nagtally sa nakareg sa finish line. Nadagdagan ng halos 10 mins dun sa nakapost sa race results. Bakit po ganun samantalang mas mabilis pa namin natapos itong milo kesa sa last race na sinalihan namin. Paki explain po sana. Thank you po!
ask lang po yung race number ko po ba na hindi nagamit sa Angeles Pampanga, pwede gamitin sa December 8 sa Manila? thanks po
