Petron Run for Safety 2013 3/5/10K (Ortigas)
Petron Run for Safety 2013 will be on June 16, 2013 at Ortigas Center, Pasig City. For the 2nd time around, Petron Corporation is calling all runners to be part of the Company’s biggest campaign of the year, Lakbay Alalay Kasama Mo Sa Biyahe 2013. This year, in Petron’s endearing effort to extend help and assistance to our countrymen, all proceeds shall be for the benefit of Sagip Alalay and Project NOAH (Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazzards).
Sagip Alalay is the relief assistance program of Petron which aims to help victims of natural calamities.
Project NOAH is for floods and hazards forecasting, monitoring and mitigation project providing Filipinos with real-time weather information and updated maps.
Taking a step forward this year, we are ensuring that your presence to join on June 16, 2013 will be worth your while.

Have you noticed the enclosed bib information sheet stating that we must confirm their bib code online? Does that mean no bib code/no race time? Can some elaborate.
Hi Noel and all registered runners,
Regarding your concern on the official race time, after the race, runners’ finishing time will be posted on strider.ph, our official timer. You will be able to check these a day after the race.
The one indicated on the yellow leaflet, is an ADDED PERK, where typing in the code as per the instruction on the leaflet before the race, would automatically post your race results on your FACEBOOK ACCOUNT/WALL as soon as the official race results are posted by STRIDER.PH.

ung chris sport sa sm megamall, nde daw nila alam na pwede dun mag pa register ng mga sasali sa Petron Run. kamote talaga, sayang lang oras ko pag punta dun. tinanung pa ko kung sure daw na may takbo ang petron, takte, walang silbi talaga ang staff dun
question po…. may poster po ba yung petron run dun sa may cashier/counter ng chris sport sa megamall? kasi pag may mga patakbo na pwede magregister daw sa chris sports sa megamall, tinitignan ko muna kung may poster dun…kasi pag meron meaning na-deliver na sa kanila yung materials for registration, at syempre pag wala pa hindi nila alam (malamang) ^_^

wala ako idea kung pano nag po-promote ang chris sports ng mga takbo. kaya nung nag punta ako, ang una kong tatanungin ay ung staff at based dito s admin ng petron run, pwede na dun mag pa register. malamang suki ka sa chris sports kaya mejo may alam ka na sa pag pag po-promote nila ng ganitong mga event.
same here. walang idea ang personnel sa chris sports mega na registration site pala ang store nila. i-check daw sa internet…sa internet nga ako (tayo) nag-check at naconfirm ang date ng start ng registration kaya ako (tayo) pumunta sa chris sports outlet na un. siguro nga ay hindi pa sila naiinform or hindi pa nakapagdeliver ng mga kit dun. siguro, tawag tawag na lang sa phone nila to confirm the availability of the race kit for this event. (633-1659) sana nailipat na rin ang phone line nila, nalipat kasi temporarily (maybe) ang Chris Sports sa 3f mega beside american blvd..

naubusan po ako ng racemap copy. ung copy naman po dito online, masyado maliit. meron po ba kayo mas malaking copy para ma view ko un race map. wala kc ako idea kung saan ang starting point at un baggage counter pati narin water station kung included sa map.

Some negative comments posted in online forums are unfounded but most runners can attest that the negative comments posted against Chris Sports are true. Petron Run registrants had been maltreated by Chris Sports and it will be best not to partner with them on your future running events.
dun lang ako na bad trip sa chris sports megamall. pero un sa chris sports glorietta 3, ayus na ayus ang service nila. iba siguro talaga ang treatment kapag naka formal ka, unlike pag naka pambahay ka lang mag inquire. just my two cent on Chris Sports customer service.
Yung nagasikaso sa aming babae sa Cris Sport SM North Annex ok naman. All smile pa nga sya eh.
Tanong ko narin yun sa Tag Activation sa yellow sheet sa Kit. Kelan yun kailangan gawin? Before the run o after the run? At para saan ba yun?
Mabait naman yung nasa Megamall though minsan kumunkunot ang noo pag andami ko ng tinatanong pero pinipilit pa rin mag-smile. Unless iba na yung in-charge ngayon.

Brod. hindi nman siguro kasi every sunday lang naman pala.. Yung iba 10Km (3 times a week) timatakbo sa treadmill/field di nman lahat naiinjury. Don’t worry.

Based on actual running experience Ortigas Center in Pasig City can be considered a reasonable running venue. Race support such as accessible parking areas, public vehicles and 7-Eleven/MiniStop are in abundance.

I like the race route at well organized nga. challenging. Bakit di ko nakasabay si tubid? hehe.. Kainis lang ung official race time na nirelease nila, 1:20 mins daw run ko eh nakita ko sa timer eh 28 Mins. Mas mababa pa ung run time ng kasama ko eh nauna pa ko sa kanya. Yun pa weired ung timer nasa gilid.
ok na sana ang run but pagdating sa 5k sumikip nga lang ng pabalik na mas sumikip but ok naman sya yon nga lang asan na po ang mga picture kaylan nyo po post sa fb or takbo.ph
