The New Balance 1260v3 is stability shoe and the Runner’s World Best Update for Fall 2013. The 1260s got some major changes to improve its weight and cushioning. From being firm in 1260v2, the cushioning of the New Balance 1260v3 is the best ever for its line. Can’t wait to see what they will cook up with for the New Balance 1260v4 next year.

MIDSOLE and CUSHIONING
N2 – a low-to-the-ground cushioning technology is a responsive, durable, sustainable cushioning system in a low profile execution.
ACTEVA™ LITE is a full length, premium lightweight midsole provides optimal resistance to compression set – 24% lighter than standard foam.
ABZORB is a full-length, top-of-the-line midsole foam for great durability and improved cushioning.
T-beam is a lightweight, flexible TPU shank engineered to deliver optimum torsional stability and arch support through a unique center beam design.
Medial Post consists of higher density foam in the midfoot that works to correct over pronation.
UPPER
Open Mesh covers the majority of the upper for lightweight breathability.
Synthetic Overlays are strategically placed to wrap the foot for a secure fit.
No-Sew upper materials are soft, supple and hold the foot securely on the platform.
Strobel Last with the upper stitched to full length ABZORB foam, for enhanced cushioning and a soft underfoot feel.
OUTSOLE
Blown rubber runs the length of the shoe for increased cushioning and responsiveness.
Ndurance is a highly durable carbon rubber located in the heel and the lateral side of the outsole.
