ORGANIZER
BAD CIRCLE RUNNERS
a great alternative to the super leechingly-expensive and too overrated bdm. and of course, the route is amazing! imagine, vigan and pagudpud, and other wonderful tourist spots in between! go tayo dito!
sir, paano nyo po nasabing “too overrated” yung BDM? have you tried running and finished the BDM 160 (and just got disappointed with the hype)? or you joined pero di mo po natapos (kaya medyo may bitterness)? ehehehehehe
and if you’ll look in between, dun palang sa mga makukuha ng runner’s after crossing the finish line e magkaiba na… just saying…. 🙂
ask lang po kung may service van kayong provide and how much the fee? thanks
good day po,
thanks po for your interest on our humble event. though we are not trying to compete with other organizers, we just want to do this for the love of running : )
to shiloh, we will try to ask around po. if you have further inquiries, please email us at bcr.events@yahoo.com.
thanks po and GOD bless!
bdm is too expensive, and dont the organizer give prizes? just a thing to ponder…
160 k?! that’s like 4 back-to-back marathons!!. Maaring ultimate test ng endurance sa isang runner pero, in my opinion, it’s an overkill. I seriously doubt if this would attract thousands of runners katulad ng standard 42 k marathon. A well organized 42k with plenty of hydration and portable toilets along the route, and traffic enforcers, etc is more fun and safer. Just saying…
Logistics would be more manageable and also one way to promote tourism. In order to attract all age groups, you could have 5k, 10k, 21k and 42k. With all the neighboring neighboring universities and tourists, magiging sports and tourist destination ang Ilocos lalo na. Opinion ko lang.
Daming nagmamagaling. Kung gusto nyo, go. Kung ayaw nyo, wag.
I don’t think this race is trying to bite more than it can chew. For anything, this race is trying to stay away from the spotlight of bigger events, making its own label in the racing scene. The only thing I feel lacking in this event is the manpower needed to make sure everyone abides by the rules and every racer gets all the support that he/she needs. Last time you guys organized an event, there were accusations of cheating by other participants, and that was only an 80k run. Imagine if you double the distance. The last run you organized, I saw only one race marshall in a stretch of like 20K. So anyone who intends to cheat can always cheat. Make the registration fees higher and spend the rest of the money for manpower and support vehicles. Just my two cents.
KC Wizard, I was also a participant in their 80K. It was a great event kahit P900 lang ang reg fee. There were enough marshalls naman who were up night & day to give directions and to serve water and food. They gave much more than those events with super-high reg fees. Rumors on cheating were just rumors, unfounded. According to other participants who are from the place, the runner who spread the rumor has the propensity to fabricate stories just to have the spotlight. Well, the event was not perfect, no event is. But it was simply great and I am signing up again for Ilocos 160.
and the details sir 😀 thanks
you are right co-runner, magandang magpatakbo ang grupong eto kaya subukan niyo para you will know the difference compared to other races..this is my 3rd time to participate and i will assure you guys you will really like it much…promise, try it..good luck to all participants in this event, 102k & 160k…god bless us all…
