The smog in cavitex was really scary 🙁 the track was nice, with a lot of hydration booths which were adequately spaced….. I hope the finish line would have elevated signs so people wont crowd too much .:-)

Uu nga magulo ung distribution…lock of marshall so manny runners in this event… Wlang pakilam ung organizer…mas napagod kaming pumila kaysa sa pagtakbo kaninang umaga..wla pang gatorade na nakuha huh yayabang pa ng mga nsa both huhuhuhuhu….slamt sa event n ito nagenjoy kmi sobra sa pila….hahahahah
dapat pala hindi pa start ang takbo kumuha na ng mga freebies.

Isa sa pinakamasayang run na napuntahan namin! ^_^ Sapat yung hydration/CR. Andaming booth at freebies at pagkain. Heehee! Sulit yung 700php namin! ^_^
Kaso ambaho lang talaga nung ibang part sa route. Amuy hilaw na isda achaka basura achaka may nagsisiga. Hehe!
ay sus… sa Gym ka na lang tumakbo… natural na mabaho ang ibang part ng Cavitex andun ba naman ang bagsakan ng isda ano expect mo amoy Ham?

Disorganized. Magulo distribution ng finisher shirts and medals. Nagkulang sila ng Race Bib sa 5K. Ang binibigay sa akin 16K.
The organisers did everything right except the distribution of finishers kit and medal. I have not seen a more chaotic why system of distribution in my long time in the local racing scene. I even witnessed one utility personnel who got a whole box of finishers kits and I would rather think he did not intentional drop the whole box but rather tripped causing the box to land on the ground and then chaos ensued will all runners near by grabbing for the fallen finisher kits which cause a mini stampede. Wow very dangerous. I opted not to get my finisher kit, hover, I cannot proceed to the parking on the MOA side as the road leaving has been blocked by the organisers as their control for distribution of finisher kit. A good and well organised run spoiled only in the end by the distribution of the finisher kits. Sometimes all the good effort is spoiled by a last minute booboo. What a pity!
Buwis buhay run…Orange cones as our barriers from the speeding trucks and cars? hydration stations na maliliit eh alam nyo naman na napakaraming runners na naka register? cheap medals and cotton tees as finisher shirt? SOBRANG EXPENSIVE NAMAN NG RACE NYO SA 800 NA REG NAMIN for 21k
I had a bad experience already from 1) claiming of my race kit at emerald ave. which was never delivered there. I registered around Dec 17 or earlier pa naman. I had to call the store several times to follow up pero wala silang magawa. 2) The parking (if there was) was a war zone. Organizers knew how many registered for the run, so, they should have allotted us with parking spaces or allowed us to use the roads to park. 3) The race kit claiming area was chaos. I just had to get any race kit for 21K from the attendant because it was almost gunstart when i arrived the area. I was late in the gun start because of the parking problem. 3) The claiming of medals and finisher’s kit – its like walking in divisoria. 4) The race course was flat, cool weather so it gave me some boost. But there were areas that were really dark and that slows down our pace.

the race was great> but at the end of the line, distribution of refreshments and finishers kits are not organized well
my family had a great time! 🙂 grabe dami ng participants pero dami din ng mga freebies! 😉
daming condom kaso 1buwan mo lng gagamitin lahat exp na feb 2014 awwww
wag mong itapon pag-expire dahil pwedeng gawing balloon yan kung may birthday, dispedida or stag party.
Cons.
1. after 6km from starting line kulang na ang hydration lalo na yung pabalik sabi wala na dawgatorade o tubig man lang. then next hydration booth wala na baso.
2. At 10k turn daming nag selfie kaya congested na yung road pabalik, nadagdagan pa sa 5k at 3k kaya last 2k from finish medyo babagal na yung pacing ng runner.
3. Walang slot or direction sa bawat category kung saan papasok ang mag pi-finish na runner. Bahala na kung saan ka pupunta either 21k, 16k, 10k, 5k, o 3K magulo sa finish line.
4. yung pagbibigay ng medal dapat sa finish line mismo at hindi yung pipila ka para lang makuha ang medal.
5. ayaw mamigay ng hydration after ng finish line baso-baso o tagay-tagay ang bigayan sa halip na isang bote ang ibigay kung hindi pa nagpumilit ang ibang runner malamang sa freebies booth nalang sila kukuha ng inumin.
6. magulo ang bigayan ng finisher kit, sana next time kung nao yung ibibigay nila ilagay na lahat sa loot bag para di na magpapakahirap pumila ang mga runners.
7. walang distinction ang finisher shirt, yun lang sana ang consuelo de bobo sa mga runner, ‘ika nga may bragging rights sila sa bawat category. Not to mention yung materials ng finisher shirt.
8. pare-pareho ang mga medal liban sa ribbon.
9. hirap ng parking kahit maagang nagpunta sa venue.

Ok na sana ayun kaso pagdating sa finish line di ko alam saan pupunta nagkamali pa kami napuntahan ng kasama ko pang 21k daw un tapos may nakatayo dun na namimigay ng kit habang mga tao agawan wow super gulo grabeh parang relief goods lang pinamimigay pero ok naman un enjoy pwera nga lang dun sa sinabi ko.
Di na ko uli tatakbo sa 711 Run. Napaka CHEAP nung medal at nung Finishers Shirt. Kadiri din yung lootbag. Seriously, dalawang biscuit at cheap na magazine sa kit?

No coordination among the staff involving the distributions of lootbags and medals.
OK naman, magulo lang distribution ng finishers’ shirts… eh kasi naman ang daming runners. Di yata napag-handaan at nagawan ng magandang sistema. Maybe next time, limit the runners to a certain number lang… 15,000 is too many to handle. I heard there where about 17,600 runners in this particular event? Mahirap nga i-handle yun. Pero ganda naman ng race path and marami naman freebies after… busog. Salamat sa sponsors!
I ran for 21k race. Nakakatakot na tumakbo after 3km distance, makipot na yung road. Tapos anlalaki ng mga truck na dumadaan at mga smoke velcher pa. Note: yung mga truck na dumadaan, few meters lang layo sayo, medyo katabi mo na, cones lang ang harang, napaka-delikado for starters, no, I think for all runners.
Best running moment here is between 9 km – 13 km, masarap ng huminga dahil maluwag na ang daan at sa simoy-dagat.
Last 5 km left na, may tatawid na bus, huminto kami, pinara ng 7-eleven staff yung bus, nang pinara niya, yung isang staff naman na nakasuot pang-traffic enforcer, nag-senyas ng “go”, miscommunication between them, buti yung bus driver may sentido komon, di tinuloy.
Now na na’experience ko na tumakbo sa Cavitex, di na ako sasali kapag dito i’held ang run even if it was held by other company. Di ko hihintayin na mag-karoon ng trahedya dahil napaka’prone talaga niya for accident. Or if they were able to re-route vehicles na di sasabay sa mga runners perhaps i’ll consider to run again here.
I had 240+ condoms given by Trust booth.. LoLz!
Love the run, claiming of finishers is chaotic, freebies are great except Fern-C booth..

Will not join next year, if there is. Logistics? Failed. Poor quality of singlet. With the finisher shirt naman, free size at wala nakalagay kung ano na distance ka finisher. Poor quality of medal.
Di na din ako uulit sa 7eleven run. disappointed ako sa finisher shirt and medal… pinagkaiba lang mga medals yung lace kung anong category 🙁 tapos di drifit ang finisher shirt…
i was not in a good condition during the race,but im sure i still could run. The weather was in favor, same with the race route and the martials were well organized and they are very attentive. The poor part was when i passed along coastal road to the tollgate, i was sicken by the stinky odor and the harsh smoke, it was obviously irritating. I was also disappointed with the loothbag and the FS, im sure most runners weren’t happy to received their racekit. I’ve been a runner for a year now, and as I observe there were no perfect event, that’s given. I just hope that organizers will take our suggestion and work on their failures so that there will be no the same complain nxt time. Over all rating, GOOD. We’ll still join the 7-11 Run nxt year. I had supported the maiden 7-Eleven Run 2013 edition despite the adverse weather condition and mediocre postponement excuses by the race stakeholders. On race date runners were elated by the superior running event quality and the race stakeholders vindicated themselves.
But the recent 7-Eleven 2014 edition can be considered depressing due to the dismal running event quality! Based on actual running experience what had been provided can be considered generic and substandard!
Let me cast a permanent vote by walking away. Good bye 7-Eleven!
It’s my second time running in Cavitex at sa totoo lang Cavitex can accommodate thousands of runners dahil malawak ito konti ang sasakyan na nadaan at masarap sa pakiramdam ang pagtakbo (eto ung 8km to 13km route. Ang issue dito ay ang old Coastal road which is one lane lang yata binibigay pag may event na ganito na talaga namang kulang kung ganito ang volume ng tatakbo. I agree delikado talaga lalo na at konti ang marshals sa tabi ng mga cones. Next time sana naman mag isip ang mga organizers ng way to make it more safe to the runners if ever they choose Coastal road to Cavitex route.

The run was good, however on the last 2km mark going to the finish line, some of the hydration booth were already dehydrated! Naubusan ng hydrating fluids!
well for me, well experience run.. di maiwasan talaga un locks of security. kaya magulo after the finish line. infareness mas maganda ang tela ng finisher shirt ngaun kesa last year. To Organizers: Pls sana next year maayos na po natin lahat ng comments ng mga participants. pano un mga new runners natin, baka ma trauma dahil sa di maganda nilang experience sa unang pagkakataon.. anyway, c u next year! may the good lord be with us.. Mabuhay ang Mga RUNNERS!!!

7eleven 1000 is the best fun run i’ve join.
Freebies, singlet, medal, runners are all great. probably to join again next year.

There is no perfect organizers,even run rio had lot of complaints the things we can do is thanks to the LORD dahil wlang naaksidente sakbila ng npakaraming sumali,cguro mgigising na 711 management dahil sa mga pagkukulang at mga disorganized na bagay,,,more power to all of you.

Ok na sana kung magkakaiba yung finish line. at pagdating mo sa finish line isasabit sayo yung medal, lakas sana makatanggal ng pagod nun. like in milo marathon. halatang disorganized pa din dahil magulo lahat. at ang finisher’s shirt, running ang sinalihan tapos cotton ang ibibigay.marami ngang freebies pero dahil sa gulo ng pila, tatamarin ka na lang manghingi.

My Run Time. Bakit hindi ko makita result ko? 22199-A bib # ko. Sana magprovide kayo nang result na naka PDF file para makita namin lahat. Doon lang namin makikita kung sinu-sino ang mga nanalo lalo na iyong umuwi na agad pagkatapos nila tumakbo at hindi na hinintay ang awarding.
Hmmm yung ibng photographer namimili ng pipicturan huhuhuh parang wala ata ako kuha ..

As of now, PR 4 my self..the 4th time i’ve ran @21k & good that I acheived my goal..–the prize “Saucony running shoes”..whahahaha

FINISH THE race as fast as you can mahuli ka abutan ka ng bulk of runners talo ka. early finisher more freebies, mauna ka sa route matapos maluwag ang daan dahil wala ka ganu kasabay eh hehehe =) bottom line is tapusin ng maaga ang race para mag enjoy ka, nice 21k run cool weather kahit madilim lang ang daan at malubak =). i beat my record sa RUPM 3 marami lang nga talagang elite sumali dito
