Natgeo Earth Day Run 2014 will be on April 27, 2014 at BGC. There will be an on-site registration starting on March 1, 2014 at the lower ground, SM Aura Premier, Taguig City. Runners will get a limited edition Natgeo EDR technical shirt.
The Natgeo Earth Day Run, together with WWF, is donating proceeds for Bancas for the Philippines.

Hi all.. do you guys know if ung In-Store registration may courier fee rin? Makukuha ba agad ung kit/singlet after you register onsite or to be delivered rin?
Di mo makukuha agad yung singlet, bale yung bib at race route lang ang makukuha mo during on-site registration (reason: di daw na meet ng kanilang supplier ang schedule sa pag gawa ng singlet). I-courier na lang daw at libre naman, this will happen sa March 11 onwards.

21K & 42K meron daw ayon sa marshall ng f.shirt & medal kasama stub sa bib#.. pag online 10days hhintayin ang bib at singlet via deliver. pero pag site reg bib# lang ang kuha agad tpos deliver din ang singlet w/ no addt’l charge.

So..registered today in SM Aura for the 21K category. Unfortunately, for pickup na yung mga succeeding onsite registrants. Yes that’s right, babalik pa kami for the singlet. Release date ay March 15 onwards daw tapos in terms of your preferred singlet size, no guarantee kasi first come first served basis. Abalamuch! Kung alam ko lang na ganun eh di sana nag online na lang ako although it seems may mga issues rin ung online registration noh? For the organizers of this run, is it so hard for someone within your team to post such changes online – your website, a few of the most visited runnning sites such as this one, facebook? SM Aura is not the most accessible mall pero deadma because we want this but we went there expecting na after the onsite registration ok na, to be delivered na lang ung singlet but no babalik pa kami! Seriously, registration shouldn’t be such an inconvenience.
So again just to set your expectations, sa mga nagbabalak magregister SM Aura from today to March 14 please note na babalik pa kayo to claim your singlet on March 15 onwards. Unless bukas or the next days may changes na naman ung onsite registration.
Note to the organizers — see what I did there? It took me 2mins to do that, now at least ung mga usual visitors ng site would be better informed hence less frustration when they actually decide to register onsite.

Ang malas ko talaga! Noong NatGeo Run 2012, registration fee para sa 21k ay P1,500.00! Tapos ang nakuha ko lang ay 1 maliit na medal at 1 boteng tubig!!!!!

Same sentiment here, NAtGeo Run is one of the biggest running event and supposedly can provide budget for advance production of singlets/race kits. Why do you have to set in another date? Considering additional expense for the runners like parking fee, toll gate, gas. Wow, small organizers can prepare better, yun nga lang dinadaan na lang sa promotion at popularity pero quality of preparation is very poor…

I asked the organizers during the media launch and they said they will provide water cups. But I just read the FAQs and it’s now contradicting. 🙁

I’ve asked the availability of lights during the media launch yesterday. They said they will consider adding up since it is dark. But I would still bring a headlamp just to be sure.
For the hydration, they will provide water and water cups along the route. It’s exact locations will be announced at a later date.

if this event is already closed for registrants, why dont you try considering the other event that day “takbo mo buhay ko fun run” its a charity run for yolanda victims instead. its a better alternative.

You can join also Pro-Earth fun run still the same venue at Bgc. It’s convenient to go to any Sm Cinema Stations and request for a slot. It is also a run for a cause for typhoon yolanda victims 🙂

Big disappointment.
Upon registration, the staff told me to come back on April 7 (today) for claiming of singlet.
To my dismay, the staff told me “ubos na po yung size M, noong thursday pa. XL na lang po lahat. Balik na lang kayo sa April 10”.
What?! Never will I join this race again.

That’s a very meaningful name! Yes! I, too, had a terrible experience with the staff back in 2012. The fee for 21K was P1,500.00. I asked them If there was a finisher’s shirt. They Immediately said Yes, Sir. Meron. That convinced me to join. But guess what? It was all a lie!
So therefore I vowed never to join this event ever again.

Just enjoy the run inspite of the hassles from registration to claiming of singlet. This is a run for a cause and not to satisfy our personal standards and expectations on any marathons that we join in, but for sure this is a learning lesson for the organizers.
