The Brooks Glycerin 12 is the premium neutral running shoes that is equivalent to the Brooks Transcend. Glycerin 12 now has the Super DNA material and the Ideal Pressure Zone technology.
If the Transcend is for mild to moderate overpronators, the Glycerin 12 is for neutral runners. Running Warehouse and Runners World showed a beautiful preview of the new Glycerin. I love the deep black color. It makes my neon colored shoes look like sissies. 😀
Brooks Glycerin 12 Features
The Glycerin 12 uses the Super DNA compound for a softer ride. The Super DNA promises to deliver 25% more cushioning thanBioMoGo DNA. It also uses the Ideal Pressure Zone technology where outsole has been divided up into three “pressure zones”—the outsole of the heel, midfoot, and forefoot. This helps distribute the pressure evenly across the foot. It has rounded heels to align the foot more effectively.
Brooks Glycerin 12 Release Date
The Glycerin 12 is expected to hit the stores by Summer 2014. It is priced at around 150 USD.
