Jaybird Freedom Sprint is a smaller and improved version of the Jaybird JF3 Freedom. It is lighter and more comfortable to wear. It offers swearproof and customized secure fit that is best for running and other fitness activities.

I love what comes in the box. It has 3 sets of earbud sizes which allows me to pick the size that gives the best fit. The labels are quite small on each earbud but you’d be able figure it out. Putting them together is easy. Just follow the manual that comes with the box. It also comes with a clamshell case that looks really nice.

The controls are easy to follow. The ON and OFF button is located on top while the volume controls are on the side. Upon turning it on, it takes only a few seconds to connect with my phone. For best results, they recommend having the phone or other input sources close to the right earbud since it is where the antenna is located.

Listening to music went so well. The signal was continuous and I did not experience any cut offs while enjoying my playlist.

However, the range for the bluetooth seems to be short. I can only walk away from my phone for a few meters and the signal disappears. That is both a good and a bad thing. Bad since I cannot go around the room as much as I can. Good because it means I won’t misplace my phone. It will always be close to me.

When running, the Jaybird Freedom Sprint will stay on securely on the ear for the entire run. I have used it for up to an hour so far and it never fell off. And it was such a relief not being bothered with cords that tangles while running. I am really loving these wireless earbuds.

Several sizes to find your fit.

Looping it around the neck would sometimes tickle. So I placed a small clip on it to make the cord stay in place. It is not provided in the package. I hope they include it in future models.

While I haven’t used this for a marathon yet, Jaybird Freedom Sprint has a battery life of 4.5 hours only. It’s quite short since I finish a marathon at more than 5 hours. Which means, the music will die down just when I badly need a push at the last stretch. But the 4.5 hours battery time is just right for half marathons, an hour of gym session or watching a movie.

The audio quality was great as well. It has powerful bass and crisp highs making it great for my running playlist. It is also great for movies. Jaybird Freedom Sprint says it eliminates listener fatigue by giving emphasis on sub-bass, while reducing frequency response in ranges of mids and extreme treble.

The case really looks good.

Overall, the Jaybird Freedom Sprint gave tme more freedom in running. There is less cords, but more quality sound to enjoy. That is music to my ears.
