First Impressions in 15 seconds with the new adidas Boost

They say that all shoes are alike. But when I tried on the new adidas Energy Boost 2.0 I know something was different about it. The fit of the new adidas Energy Boost 2.0 is much better. And it has that distinctive softness and bounce that I can only experience with the Boost.
I was part of a campaign for the new adidas Energy Boost and I got the chance to run with it in the key landmarks in the heart of Manila. I ran through the grass, soil, stones, asphalt and concrete. It was a testing ground for the new adidas Boost and I love every step and every stride of it.
Watch the 15 second teaser of the adidas Boost below. Can you guess where I have been running?

I agree that this is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever tried. Well designed and is destined to set a new standard. I think I will become a fanatic of this shoes. One thing more I like is that it easily dries even on shaded areas.
Hi Lars, thanks for the comment. I haven’t used them in wet conditions and I hope not to. 😀 Was the traction good even when it’s on a wet surface?
Oh the traction on wet surface? I ran them in the Gold Rush and never felt any slip even in portions where there is about 1 inch of water. Really amazing.
Hmm. Looks like my last adizero tempo. Shifted to a different brand almost 2 years ago. Now this is tempting me to reconsider Adidas. 🙂
Love the adizero’s too. There are adizero models that have the Boost technology. You might want to check them out as well.
Can the Adidas Energy Boost 2.0 styrofoam sole durable enough to handle the minimum 800-km running shoe mileage?
I doubt that it can handle 800KM mileage. The abrasive outsole might last long but the Boost cushioning would eventually wear out earlier. I have about 250KM mileage already. Outsole still looks strong but it feels less bouncy compared to when it was new. I can probably run up to 500KM with these before retiring them.
which is better? Adidas energy boost 2 or asics gel kayano 19?
Hi Curtis, I havent tested a Kayano so I cannot make a good comparison. However, the adidas Energy Boost would be lighter than a Kayano.
Based on your actual usage can the styrofoam material last long upon exposure after the abrasive outsole had been worn out?
