Pilipinas Akyathlon 2017 10/25/42K (Benguet)
Pilipinas Akyathlon 2017 will be on February 5, 2017 at Mt. Ugo, Tinongdan, Itogon, Benguet.
Pilipinas Akyathlon is the premier Skyrunning event in the Philippines. The 2017 edition will have 3 categories:
42km SkyMarathon®
As the main event, the 42km SkyMarathon® will determine the Filipino Skyrunning Champions (male and female). It is an out-and-back race that starts at the Tinongdan Indigenous Heritage Site and follows the trail leading up to the summit of Mt. Ugo (2,150 masl) and then retraces the same path (with minor variation) back to the Finish line.
25km Mountain Run
The 25km Mountain Run uses the same route as the SkyMarathon® but makes an earlier turn around at Sitio Lusod.
10km Road to Trail Race
The 10km Road to Trail Race is an introductory course into trail running. It’s composed of roughly 30% road and 70% trail.
