A Preview of the FitCon MNL 2017
Last May 4, we were treated to a preview of what’s in store for the FitCon MNL 2017. Dozens of fitness bloggers and fitness enthusiasts were invited at Kerry Sports Gym in BGC for an afternoon of health and wellness.
Fitness coaches, Rica Rodriguez and Divine Masinsin (a.k.a. The Dynamic Duo), spearheaded the short but enjoyable program.
CoachRica talked about the benefits of foam rolling and even had a lived demonstration, together with some of the participants of this simple fitness technology for relieving muscle pains.
I was also lucky enough to experience it and the foam roller do help you let loose and make certain muscle movements much easier. This is recommended for runners who often got muscle fatigue issues.
Coach Divine taught us the electrifying routine known as Body Art. Its a combination of yoga poses mixed with several explosive dance steps that really lightens up the body. It was really fun because you get to do a lot of unfamiliar poses and some of the muscles you haven’t been using gets activated. For the finisher, X also lead a Zumba session.
If you are also into fitness and wants to update his or her knowledge, spend a day in FitCon MNL 2017.
