Kerry Sports Vertical Run 2017

Kerry Sports Vertical Run 2017 will be on July 9, 2017 at Shangri-la at The Fort. This is the 2nd edition of Kerry Sports Vertical run in Manila.

Kerry Sports Manila Vertical Run 2017 is one of 10 international stair climbing races by the Vertical World Circuit (VWC). VWC circulates iconic cities around the world including Dubai, London, Paris, New York, Beijing, Sydney, Shanghai, Osaka and Hong Kong.

In Manila, it will take place at one of the tallest buildings in Manila, Shangri-La at the Fort, and will be the 2nd time to be held in the Philippines. Runners start at the lobby of Shangri-La at the Fort and race up the stairs to reach the top, covering 1353 steps, 250 meter elevation and 59 floors.

The 2017 Vertical World Circuit schedule is as follows:

Dubai – March 3 | London – March 9 | Paris – May 18 | New York – June 4 | Manila – July 9 | Beijing – August 26 |
Sydney – August 27 | Shanghai – October 22 | Osaka – November 12 | Hong Kong – December 3.

Team Challenge: 58 Floors
Horizon Challenge: 38 Floors
Fun Climb: 20 Floors

START: The course takes place in the staircase of Shangri-la at the Fort, Manila. Runners will complete a short run from the 1/F Lobby into the staircase.

FINISH: The race will finish at the Penthouse of the building climbing 59 floors at a height of 250 metres with an amazing panoramic view of Manila.

WATER STATIONS: Water will be available at the 20/F, 40F and the Finish.

Team Challenge – Php 6,000 (4 runners to start together and climb 58 floors)
Horizon Challenge – Php 1,200
Fun Climb – Php 1,000
