Pilipinas Akyathlon 2018 10/25/46K (Benguet)
Pilipinas Akyathlon 2018 will be on February 4, 2018 at Mt. Ugo, Tinongdan, Benguet.
Pilipinas Akyathlon is the premier skyrunning event in the Philippines. The 2018 edition will have 3 categories. The main category is a 46km SkyMarathon starting from Binga Lake in Itogon and goes up the traditional foot trails of the local communities to the village of Lusod and up to the summit of Mt. Ugo. At the summit, the runners make a U-turn and return via the same trail back to Lusod. From there, runners descend down the Tinongdan hiking trail to the Agno River valley and follow the path back to Binga. It is recommended for experienced trail runners.

Runners must be prepared for steep ascents and descents and various natural challenges presented by the trails.
Each runner is expected to be self-sustaining, with their own hydration gear and nutrition; however, medical/aid & water refilling stations will be available in multiple points along the route.
