Color Manila Glitter Run 2017 Race Recap

Joining Color Manila races has always been a fun experience for me. I ran with friends at CM Challenge Obstacle conquering obstacles with the 10k route.

And last Sunday, with a different set of friends, we joined the Glitter Run.

It was a back to back runs for me. I did 5K at Hello Kitty Run 2017 and 10K at the Glitter Run.

I was glad I ran with friends that keep me well-paced throughout the whole course. It was a humid run and I’m thankful that hydration stations provided iced-cold energy drinks and water. At the finish, you will be splashed with pink and gold glitters. 

The event, area as expected is the happiest place to be. Runners get their CM Glitter Run medal by lining up in a booth at the event area. Freebies from the sponsors were also handed out to runners. The participants were jumping and dancing as they wait for the color festival.

Every Color Manila run event ends in a great party with full colors as runners altogether throw their chosen colored powder.
