Samsung first introduced its fitness Gear line in 2013. Back then, the devices are already rich in features, have multiple functions, user-friendly, and have great aesthetics. This year, the trusted tech company has released three new gears that will be crucial to your fitness journey, they are:
Samsung Gear Sport

The Gear Sport is a smartwatch that can do everything from tracking your exercise automatically to tracking your calorie balance like a personal fitness coach. It can also play music and even allows you to reply to different notifications.
It’s great for runners because it has a highly accurate GPS and a continuous heart rate monitoring system. Likewise, swimmers would also love its swim tracking capabilities that can count strokes, laps, distance and even calories burned.
You can also connect it to your smartphone and integrate it with different apps, such as Endomondo and Speedo, to better understand and analyze your workout metrics. The watch also has a rotating bezel and a touchscreen with 360x 360 resolution, which makes it seamless to navigate through all of its features.

Several studies have suggested that playing music while working out can significantly increase your performance. But, the problem with most music players (and even your phones) is that they are bulky, and the headphone’s cords could tangle when you’re exercising. That’s where the Gear Icon X comes in.
The Gear Icon X is a wireless headphone that can independently play music (7 hours standalone, 5 hours streaming mode). You can even store your favorite tunes or workout music with its built-in storage. This device also has a standalone fitness tracker that can track your activity and measure speed, time, distance and calories burned.
Furthermore, the Icon X has an in-ear running coach with a real-time voice guide that can help you achieve your target pace or mileage. These features make it easier for you to break your PR. The device can also process voice commands and let you respond to calls.
