Keeping Fit by Eating Right through honestbee
You can’t out-train a bad diet. This is famous fitness matra and several studies agree to this. No matter how many hours or days in a week you spend in the gym and you are not making the right food choices, you will not get the results you are looking for.
During the honestbee launch of its Organic, Fresh and Healthy category, Tim of Tim Nutrition shared his tips for good health:
- Small purposeful exercise to start the day
- 80-20 rule for eating (80% – whole, unprocessed, healthy foods, 20% – yummy junk)
- Be active throughout the day
- Strength training a couple of times a week
Tim notes that, “a healthy relationship with food just means that you’re in control of food with statements such as “I won’t” instead of “I can’t eat”.
Marga Banaga, famous for her journey of losing 30 lbs in 100 days, also shared some tips on how to prepare meals ahead of time. She recommends doing it twice a week so food will still taste good and for variety.
One of the challenges in eating clean is that healthy meals and snacks are not readily available. With busy schedules, people resort to food deliveries, eating on what easy available options they have.
Well, gone are the days that food deliveries are just from the different fast food chains. Honestbee now offers their healthy options for delivery so you can order meals that fit your nutritional needs.
Aside from meals and snacks, if you are preparing and cooking meals at home, honestbee delivers the fruits, vegetable and other raw ingredients you need from the grocery and even from the wet market. No need to rush to catch the supermarket hours after work or from the gym.
