Run for Aspins 2019 500m/1K/5K (Ortigas)
Run for Aspins 2019 will be held on December 8, 2019 at the Ortigas East. Pasig (Silver City).
Run for Aspins is one of our longtime passion projects. We aim to raise funds and awareness for the care of mga asong pinoy through fun, uniting events for dog owners and dog lovers alike! For its 3rd reiteration, we’re partnering with volunteer group I AM SCOTT to support their TNVR initiative for aspins and puspins!
TNVR means TRAP, NEUTER, VACCINATE, and RETURN. Our animal shelters deal with oversaturated facilities and lack of funds, TNVR is the next best option after housing dogs and cats. It stops stray animals from overpopulating the streets and spreading illnesses among themselves and other species (like us!).
Aspins aren’t just no-breed cats and dogs–they’re our cats and dogs, and it’s our duty as an animal-loving community to help them! Each of our 500 projected participants’ race kits include a pledge that goes directly to I AM SCOTT’s TNVR initiative.
