New Balance Philippines Joins Virtual TCS New York Marathon 2021
New Balance Philippines will participate in the upcoming Virtual TCS New York Marathon 2021. And we at Takbo.ph, are excited to be part of it! New Balance stands as a global athletic leader and is pleased to announce their continued partnership with the TCS New York Marathon. The TCS New York Marathon is one of the world’s largest marathons and is a signature event of the New York Road Runners. This race is held annually every November and garners up to 50,000 participants across the globe.
The global pandemic has halted numerous events and activities, but the New York Road Runners have worked hard to stage the virtual TCS New York City Marathon which aims to be the world’s largest virtual race. With a goal of reaching 53,000+ virtual runners, New Balance Philippines been given the opportunity to invite eight (8) participants to join the “Run for the Medal” category.
Virtual runners must complete 26.2 miles in a single run activity and upload their race results to Strava. Finishers of this race will receive the following: Virtual TCS New York City Marathon Finisher medal, marathon branded running buff, a Strava digital finisher badge, and printable gift certificate.
New Balance Philippines has invited 8 participants to represent the brand. Four of the participants are members of the New Balance Run Club Philippines which successfully relaunched last March 2021. Aside from the finisher’s prizes mentioned above, each participant is will get a complimentary race slot from New Balance Philippines. They will also get a training kit (full NB apparel with footwear) and race kit (full NB apparel with footwear). This year’s race period is from October 23-November 7, 2021.
The Virtual TCS New York City Marathon will connect the global running community at a time when more people are running as a way to stay healthy and active during these challenging times, and New Balance is proud to show their continued to support the event as an official footwear and apparel partner.
