Columbia Last Man Standing 2022

No Breaks. No Excuses. All Grit – Columbia Last Man Standing 2022. This year, Columbia Philippines will finally be bringing back their Last Man Standing campaign and competition wherein each participant will be tested and pushed beyond their physical limits.

The Columbia Last Man Standing 2022 is a competition that requires mental resolve, physical endurance, but most of all, unwavering grit. The ultimate test of toughness, participants are made to stand on a three-foot wooden pillar for the longest time possible.

This year, Columbia Last Man Standing will be bigger, better and tougher. Bigger locations, better prizes and tougher challenges are in store for the 32 participants from Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro.

Gert Boyle, the founder of Columbia once said, “We don’t make humans. But we do make them tougher.”
There are several ways to define “toughness”. Some hold it by the standard of physical strength. Others
equate it to the measure of time you can endure extreme conditions. Others even define it as the amount
of pressure a person or object can handle before finally giving out. But having experienced one of the
hardest times that the world has gone through in recent history, a global pandemic puts “toughness” into
a different perspective.

With businesses, jobs, and lives being threatened by COVID, the odds were truly stacked against all of
us. But in the midst of trying times, the difficulties of an unforeseen crisis brought out a different kind of
toughness in many of us. This toughness is called “grit”. It goes beyond brute strength or the sheer desire to survive. It is the resolve to defy logic, to push one’s limits, and withstand whatever obstacle life may bring to be able to call ourselves victors against the most daunting challenges.

Eight challengers per city will be picked through a qualifying event on Friday, October 28, 2022. It will
take place at the Bridgeway Garden in Ayala Centrio Cagayan de Oro, Anytime Fitness in Leonard Wood
Road Baguio, Anytime Fitness in Ayala Center Cebu, and Anytime Fitness in Bonifacio High Street BGC.
The eight finalists per city will automatically receive P15,000 worth of items and will compete against the
best of the other regions on November 13.

The battle for the Last Man Standing title will be on Sunday, November 13, 2022 and will be held
simultaneously in BGC Amphitheater for Manila, Sky Garden in SM Baguio, The Terraces in Ayala Center
Cebu and Garden 2 in Ayala Centrio Mall. This will be simulcasted live via Columbia’s social media
pages.

The last winner kept his stand for more than 8 hours, what will this year’s record be? The winner will
receive a P30,000 cash prize and more than P100,000 worth of products from Columbia and their
partners.
