Adidas Celebrates Women’s Month with New Products and Programs
adidas launched several initiatives this Women’s Month to empower women and help them achieve their goals. adidas’ initiatives highlight the brand’s commitment to empowering women and helping them realize their full potential, both on and off the track.
With Women We Run+
Adidas is committed to tackling gender inequality in running through its With Women We Run+ program, the third iteration of its yearly Girls Can Run initiative. It aims to empower women and help them discover their running potential.
The three-month program, led by Adidas Runners Manila Coach Nylah Bautista, will bring together 20 beginner and intermediate participants through a series of training and workouts to become better, stronger, and more competitive runners.
In addition, five workshops covering topics such as women’s nutrition, male allyship, and mental toughness are included to provide holistic growth and development.
“This year we’re strengthening our commitment to supporting women in sports, and there’s no better time to show that support than this month. That’s why throughout International Women’s Month, we’ve prepared a range of activities and events to give women the space to feel empowered and prove that Impossible is Nothing,” said Jen Dacasin, adidas Philippines Brand Activation Manager.
Ultraboost Light Launch Run
The brand introduced the Ultraboost Light, its latest iteration of the popular running shoe designed to provide ultimate comfort, cushioning, and responsiveness for all types of runners.
To showcase the Ultraboost Light’s capabilities, Adidas held the Ultraboost Light Trial Run on March 21 at Bonifacio Global City, where both novice and experienced runners experienced the shoe’s features. The 3K and 5K run started and ended at adidas Two Parkade.
The Ultraboost Light features a 30% lighter BOOST technology, which enhances energy in every stride. Its lighter midsole redesigned Linear Energy Push, and comfortable PRIMEKNIT+ upper all contribute to a more effortless run.
adidas- Zalora Partnership
adidas has also partnered with ZALORA for the second stop of their mobile pop-up concept, Z-Train, to celebrate International Women’s Month.
The pop-up features the best Adidas Women’s sports performance and lifestyle outfits, with selections for every woman. Additionally, special promos and Z-Train pocket fitness classes exclusively for women, by women, will be available at Greenbulb 3 Fashion Square from March 18 to April 18.
