Run with Epic Energy and Lightness in Every Step with the New adidas Ultraboost Light
MANILA, PHILIPPINES – adidas drops the newest addition to its iconic running shoe line – the Ultraboost Light. With a groundbreaking new material called Light BOOST, adidas has upped its game to create the perfect shoe for all types of runners based on their feedback.
The Lightest Ever Ultraboost
Celebrating a decade of BOOST tech, the Ultraboost Light has 30% lighter BOOST material, giving you epic energy, unbeatable cushioning, next-level comfort, and responsiveness.
“At adidas, we know that running is personal. Everyone has a different goal and therefore, different requirements for their shoes. That is why we’re continuously looking at ways to improve our products for the adidas running community. Now, thanks to our ground-breaking material innovation – Light BOOST – runners retain the existing benefits of running in an Ultraboost, but with the bonus of a lighter silhouette,” said Simon Lockett, Footwear Product Marketing Category Director, at adidas.
The all-new Ultraboost Light features:
- A revamped LEP: The Linear Energy Point on the sole is redesigned to work perfectly with Light BOOST.
- PRIMEKNIT+ Upper: Breathable, comfy, and lightweight for an adaptive fit.
- Continental™ natural performance rubber: Ultimate traction for a fearless run in any weather.
- 10% lower carbon footprint: Compared to previous versions.
Note: The Ultraboost Light has a 10% lower carbon footprint than previous Ultraboost models, following ISO 14067 standards. The calculation includes the complete lifecycle of the product. This is just one of adidas initiatives to help reduce its footprint.
“Running with tired or heavy legs can be uncomfortable, and heavy shoes may play a role in this sensation for some people. Lighter shoes, however tend to make running more efficient, meaning they can potentially improve performance for both elite runners, but also entry and everyday runners,” said Dr. Matthew Klein, Chief Editor and Founder, Doctors of Running.
