The Importance of Exercise for Mental Health

Miriam Quiambao-Roberto, the president of the Malay General Federated PTA and a former beauty queen, highlighted the essential role of exercise in supporting mental well-being, stating, “Exercise has been shown to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, and can help improve your mood and overall well-being.

“Exercise has been shown to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, and can help improve your mood and overall well-being. Personally, running has been very instrumental in helping me overcome my depression. With brands like MILO®, we urge everyone, not only the Aklanons, to stand up and get moving for a healthy and happy lifestyle,” said Miriam Quiambao-Roberto, former beauty queen and president of the Malay General Federated PTA.

Sports’ Role in Mental Health and Personal Growth

“More than just medals and trophies, we know that sports give children values that they can take with them until they grow older, but even more than that, events like this #NotAlone Fun Run show us the important role that sports play in helping maintain one’s mental health. We’re honored to be part of this purposeful event which has been a great opportunity to energize more of our kababayans in Aklan to get started on their active journeys” said Carlo Sampan, head of MILO® Sports.
