Salomon Unveils Spring/Summer ‘24 Collection at R.O.X. BGC
Salomon PH recently debuted the Spring/Summer 2024 collection at the Recreational Outdoor Exchange Bonifacio High Street (R.O.X. BHS). The collection of outdoor gear showcased Salomon’s commitment to innovation and quality and promised to enhance the outdoor experience with its performance and durability.
SS24 Footwear Gear Test
The event began with an adrenaline-boosting gear test the newly released trail running shoes the Salomon Genesis and X Adventure, and the hiking shoes X Ultra 360. The early morning run was attended by 28 participants from the media, social media influencers, and loyal R.O.X. customers.
Coach Miguel (Ige) Lopez led the short “pyramid” workout, a type of interval running that involves varying the running intervals and intensities in a pyramid-like structure. This means that the duration or distance of each interval increases to a peak before decreasing, mimicking the shape of a pyramid. Pyramid workouts are excellent for building speed, endurance, and mental toughness.
This hands-on session allowed attendees to test the durability and performance of the SS24 collection across various terrains, setting a high-energy tone for the day.
Recovery Breakfast: Replenishing Energy
Participants enjoyed a recovery breakfast at R.O.X. BHS following the intense gear test prepared by Outdoor Gringos and Kaulayaw Coffee. Bien Avelino, Sr. Brand Executive of R.O.X. Philippines welcomed the participants on their BGC store.
The break gave a chance for attendees to recharge and share their initial impressions of the new collection, fostering a sense of community among outdoor enthusiasts.
Trail 101 with Coach Ige
The event continued with a Trail 101 talk led by the esteemed Coach Miguel Lopez. Known for his trail running and outdoor sports expertise, Coach Ige provided valuable insights and techniques, helping participants refine their trail skills, and deepen their understanding of trail running.
“Welcome Back to Earth” Campaign Unveiling
Salomon introduced its latest brand campaign, “Welcome Back to Earth,” through a captivating 90-second film. This campaign invites viewers to reconnect with nature, emphasizing the outdoors’ positive impact on our mental and physical well-being.
Presentation of New Salomon Gears
The event’s culmination was a presentation by Aiza Dagdagan, Brand Executive at Salomon. She introduced the attendees to the SS24 collection’s new outdoor gear and shoes, highlighting Salomon’s commitment to innovation and excellence in outdoor equipment.

X Ultra 360: a hiking shoe packed with various technologies such as Contragrip for better traction and Gore-Tex for waterproof protection.
Genesis: a mountain running shoe that’s dynamic, agile, and designed for trail runners who want to conquer tricky terrains.
Elixir Activ: a hiking shoe that combines plus and comfort with plenty of cushioning and support. It’s the perfect partner during long hikes.
Patrol J: an outdoor shoe designed specifically for active kids so that they can play on different surface without any worry.
TechAmphibian 5: a quick-drying water shoe with fully stitched construction and reinforced toe cap. Wear them during your time on a river or the beach.
Reelax Break 6.0: a recovery footwear you should wear after a long trail workout or race. It features a molded insole and a soft breathable mesh upper.
