Danao Lake Uphill Challenge 25K
The Danao Lake Uphill Challenge wll be held on June 16, 2024 at Polangui, Albay. Experience the beauty of Danao Lake and even get a picturesque scenery of Magayon Trio (Mt. Mayon, Mt. Masaraga, and Mt. Malinao) and Mt. IIsarog as you make your way between abaca plantations.
This event is part of the month-long celebration of “Polang-Angui Festival” a towns legend which tells a story of a woman who loves to wear red dresses. It represents Polanguis’ rich and unique socio-
cultural talents and qualities of its people, eco-tourism evident trade, and delicacies.
Known as the “lake at the top of the mountain, Mt. Danao is surrounded by lush and vast vegetation at 500 meters above sea level.
