Adidas Unveils Comfiest Running Shoe, the Supernova Prima

Adidas has introduced the Supernova Prima, its most comfortable running shoe to date, featuring 13% more DREAMSTRIKE+ super-foam than any previous model. Available from June 4, 2024, on adidas stores and through key retailers, this shoe is designed for maximum comfort and stability.

Built for maximum comfort, the Supernova Prima boasts the most DREAMSTRIKE+ super-foam out of all adidas running shoe models yet. The totally new, embedded Support Rods combine with the DREAMSTRIKE+ to provide unique comfort and stability.

Packed with comfort-driven adidas technology and design details, the Supernova Prima contains 13% more DREAMSTRIKE+ super-foam than the Supernova Rise. Debuting in the award-winning Supernova Rise last year, and inspired by the LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam used in the record-breaking Adizero family, this additional DREAMSTRIKE+ foam provides runners with unparalleled comfort as they venture out on their everyday runs. The extra 4mm of foam content is especially targeted under the ball of the foot, amplifying the cushioning of Prima from heel to toe.

Enhanced Cushioning and Support

The more cushioned midsole also works in tandem with the innovative new LIGHTTRAXION outsole – ergonomically designed to complement the mid and forefoot – keeping the shoe light and grip strong. The outsole is complemented by the wider Support Rods, which are slightly firmer than in the Rise, meaning the forefoot lands more supported.

The shoe’s multi-layered comfort heel fit pillow combines cushy foam and gentle textile, working in tandem to lock in and secure the heel in soft support. The heel construction works together with the open-patterned engineered mesh upper and soft eyestay design to deliver a plush, confident fit, all run long.

Pricing and Availability

Priced at PHP 8,500, the new Supernova Prima comes in a Preloved Scarlett colorway for women with Purple Burst details and a Solar Red colorway for men with Pulse Lime accents.

This drop anticipates not only a launch of colorway updates across all Supernova footwear models this summer, but also a range of apparel for men and women in corresponding colorways.
